SPECIAL GUEST: James Leung Jackson!

Back in December, I received a few emails from you guys saying "There's this new show you GOTTA WATCH!"  it's called: "Written in the Stars" and it's a reality dating show based off of Astrology. Truly unique in it's approach, it's not like average dating shows you see on TV. This show brought on 3 professional Astrologers to pair each zodiac sign with another, based off of so much more than just their sun sign. I watched one episode and was hooked.

James Leung Jackson was one of the stars of the show, representing the sign Aquarius. I noticed something different about him; he often wandered off to enjoy time alone, ground himself through breath work or yoga, sitting in windows to stare into the sky. The show was truly a social experiment; they ridded everyone of their phones and made them sleep in the same room in a gorgeous Greek Villa! Complete strangers. That has to be nerve wracking. But James intrigued me; how could someone so seemingly grounded, aloof, be on such a highly emotional social show? I reached out to him.

James was raised all over the world, having lived in Saudi Arabia to Hong Kong, to London. His story is unique, and his character even more so. We enjoyed an unfiltered conversation about his experience on Written in the Stars, and how he bravely left behind a life he loved, yet wasn't for him, to pursue his passion: Balm Retreats.
