Our 37th podcast “Let It DBE” (bit of a Beatles pun) features a cracking chat with two of Disability Bowls England members Antony Page and Khalila Hussain. During the chat we find out a little bit about them both and from a disabled player some of their experiences within the sport.

North East based Darlington South Park bowls club recently held a fundraising event for the foundation and invited Bolty and Alex Marshall MBE to see the great work that has been spearheaded by our guest Shaun Campbell. On our 30th podcast we have a great chat with Katie Bulmer Cooke who is an award winning Fitness Trainer, Speaker and Consultant as well as being a contestant on TV's The Apprentice. 

There will be many a bowler itching to get back on the green for the upcoming season but fitness could be a huge factor for some having been stuck in lockdown for what seems an eternity. Katie discusses "Bowlsfit" which was created following a discussion in 2017 and will be making a comeback in the very near future. How did it start? Why do we need it? Who will benefit? How can you do it? Just some of the questions covered and like the sport itself, do not knock it until you try it. 

We also discuss Katie's time on "The Apprentice". How did she find Lord Sugar, Karen Brady and Nick Hewer and what was the overall experience.
