    Pistons End Losing Streak
Jerami Grant hit the winning basket and scored 24 points to help the Detroit Pistons end an eight-game losing streak and the Boston Celtics' nine-game winning streak, 112-111 on Wednesday night. Jayson Tatum had a chance to send the Celtics into the All-Star break on a 10-game roll, but his jumper from the top of the key bounced high off the rim. Cade Cunningham scored 20 points and had a key lock in the final minute in the Pistons' first victory since January 30. Jaylen Brown led Boston with 31 points.

DeMar DeRozan scored 38 points and broke an NBA record set by Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain, and the Chicago Bulls beat the Sacramento Kings 125-118. DeRozan, who made 16 of 27 field goals, became the first player in NBA history to score 35 or more points and shoot 50% or better in seven consecutive games. Chamberlain did it in six straight twice - during the 1960-61 and 1962-63 seasons. It was also DeRozan's eighth game in a row with 30 or more points. It's the longest such streak by a Bulls player since Michael Jordan did it in eight straight in January 1996. Coby White set a season high with 31 points and matched one with six 3-pointers. De'Aaron Fox led Sacramento with 33 points and nine assists.

  • James York: MWF Player of the Week
This week's Mid-West Family Player of the Week is James York, a Senior from Berrien Springs High School.

James seemingly does it all at Berrien Springs: Basketball player, all-conference wide receiver, all-conference Track, oh, and even 2022 Mr. Berrien Springs.

But James seems to shine his brightest with his first true passion; Basketball.

In last week's 52-36 win over Niles, James scored 29 points, including going 16-17 from the free throw line.

He then followed that up with 25 points, including 3 3-pointers, in the Shamrocks' 70-60 win over South Haven.

Though unsure about specifics, James hopes and plans to play basketball at the next level after graduating this spring.

To find out more about James, listen to his conversation with Jordan Jensen, below!

    Bucks Beat Pacers
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a season-high 50 points, two off his career best, and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead the Milwaukee Bucks past the skidding Indiana Pacers 128-119. The Bucks swept the four-game season series from the Pacers and have won eight straight against their Central Division foe. Antetokounmpo, who didn't play in Milwaukee's loss to Portland on Monday night because of a sore left ankle, showed no ill effects. He set a career high with his seventh 40-point game of the season and scored 50 for the first time since the memorable title-clinching game in the NBA Finals last season, which gave the Bucks their first championship in 50 years. Milwaukee bounced back after consecutive double-digit losses to hand Indiana its seventh consecutive defeat.
