Jaelynn Little of Bangor high school girls basketball is our latest WSJM Sports Player of the Week.

Jaelynn is a senior and a team captain for the Lady Vikings team.

Bangor went 2-0 during the week, in the Vikings 42-31 win over Hartord, Jaelynn scored 8 points, but added 8 steals,, 5 rebounds and 3 assists, the win ended Bangor’s 15 game losing streak to Hartford.

Three days later, Jaelynn scored 16 points and had 9 steals in a 39-33 win against Decatur as Bangor is off to their best start since the 2012-13 season.

Jaelynn, is also a member of the Vikings Cross Country, Track and field teams., and also plays softball in the spring.  Plus she’s Bangor’s homecoming queen

Carlee Osborn of Marcellus High School Wrestling is our WSJM Sports player of the Week.

Carlee is a senior at Marcellus High School and has a 3.7 Grade Point Average.

Carlee was perfect on the mat over the last two weeks with a win in the Wildcats dual meet win over Comstock.  In the Marcellus individual tournament, she won first place in her weight class with three wins coming by pin.  Then at the Berrien County Lisa Altman girls tournament, Carlee also came in first place with two wins by pin and a 9-3 win in the championship match, coming back from down 0-3. 

Carlee is a member of the National Honor Society, and also plays soccer, is on the sideline cheer team and in the band.

The WSJM Sports Player of the Week is Carlee Osborn of Marcellus Wrestling.
