• New York Liberty win the WNBA Championship with a 67-62 OT win over Minnesota.
• New College Football AP Rankings do not include Michigan for the first time in 54 weeks.  Oregon, now #1, with Georgia, Penn State, Ohio State, and Texas at the top.

Our latest WSJM Sports Player of the Week is Colin Watts of the Twin City Sharks football team.    Colin is a senior at Our Lady of the Lake high school and has a 3.7 Grade Point Average.

In the Sharks win over Wyoming Lee, Colin had 18 carries for 198 yards and a touchdown, his main role was to serve as a blocker, where he had 5 blocks for his younger brother.  

While playing defense, Colin contributed 7 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 6 passes defended.

Along with Sharks football, Colin plays baseball for Our Lady of the Lake
