The date of this song is an anomaly and suggests either a re-write or an estimation of when the original version was composed.
There is a note on the lyrics sheet that says 'Vostok's Song' - presumably one of the characters in the story.

    Aidan Whiteley - guitar
Recorded and produced by Aidan Whiteley in Springfield Road, Exeter 1988 / 89.

    THINKING ABOUT YOU
    Don't you cry no more
All these tears on a glass floor
And the storm is in your head
And the rain in your tears, your tears
Broken glass at your feet and that knife in your hand
Oh I'm thinking about you, I'm thinking about you yeah
All the hate and all the pain
    Of fighting an enemy
Oh you're the victim of the one you love
    You love
Oh I feel so sad just thinking about you, just thinking about you
And you've fought till your hands have run red
    Blood washing the tears away
Sticks and stones may break your bones
But a heart of steel will destroy you, destroy you
All the hate and all the pain
    Of fighting an enemy
Oh your the victim of the one you love
    You love
    Don't you cry no more
All this blood on a glass floor
And the storm is in your head
And the rain in your tears, your tears
All the hate and all the pain
    Of fighting an enemy
Oh your the victim of the one you love
    You love
Thinking about you, I'm thinking about you
