Nijiama (Naj-uh-muh) Smalls is the author of The Black Girl’s Guide to Healing Emotional Wounds. In this book, Nijiama shares her personal journey of uncovering the origin of black girl trauma while also addressing the ongoing process of healing and recovery from emotional wounds caused by past hurts.
Nijiama Smalls is also the Founder and CEO of The Black Girl Healing Project,
which is the premier virtual space for the healing of Black women and families. The mission is to move Black women and girls from crisis to excellence by removing the barriers to therapeutic services while making healing accessible for
all.
