Dr. Monica Taylor, who was sworn in for her first term in January 2020, is the first African American elected to Delaware County Council.
With Delaware County’s current teacher shortage, lifelong educator and past Upper Darby School Board member, Dr. Taylor is addressing this immediate concern with a dual-enrollment program that allows Delaware County high school students to take college credits, putting them on a path toward a degree in education.
She joined Dr. Peterson to discuss Delaware County’s teacher pipeline program, the area's tax increase, new countywide 911 communication system, cold blue resources in the county, and share an update on the Crozer Health System.
