Angela Nissel is the author of 2 best-selling books “The Broke Diaries” and “Mixed”. She was the first Black staff writer on "Scrubs" and since has written and produced for shows like “The Boondocks”, “Ginny & Georgia” and “The Other Black Girl”.
Angela has staffed in writers’ rooms for over 25 years, produced more than 150 episodes of television, and recently made her first foray into film and co-wrote the 2025 Toni Braxton Lifetime movie, “Man Enough”.
