Dr. Jameta Barlow is a community health psychologist, associate professor of Writing, Health Policy and Management at George Washington University and a core faculty member of the university’s Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies Program.

She utilizes decolonizing methodologies to disrupt intergenerational trauma, chronic health diseases and structural policies adversely affecting Black girls' and women's health.
