Dr. La Keita D. Carter, is a licensed psychologist based in Maryland, specializing in trauma. She also holds credentials as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LCPC-S) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LCADC).

Dr. Carter joins the show to further discuss steps people can take to navigate various traumas, suicide prevention, and why it's so important to show up and make time for our loved ones.

Terri Stigler is the co-founder of Sistahs in Transformation: a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides Black and Brown women with a safe space to communicate and gain access to education and resources to help them transform and know “how to” apply these transformation tools that are important to them as they navigate mental and physical health, finances, relationships, self-care, parenting and community.

Terri joins the show to talk about an event Sistahs in Transformation has coming up on Oct 4th: the 2025 Dreams in Motion Women's Experience.
