Chris Norwood joined Dr. Peterson for this week's Critical Commentary segment during Radiothon to discuss the State of the Union speech in depth.

Sherri Darden is the owner and publisher of Scoop USA Media, the oldest free community paper in the tri-state media. Ms. Darden is the first and only Black female 100% owner and publisher of a regularly published newspaper in Philadelphia.

She joined Dr. Peterson to discuss the State of the Union speech, and the importance of supporting independent AND Black-owned media.

Tavis Smiley is the owner of KBLA, and one of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People In the World” as someone who has brought insightful conversations with thought leaders, opinion makers, celebrities, authors, entrepreneurs and artists.

He joined Dr. Peterson for WURD Radio's Radiothon to discuss his thoughts on the State of the Union speech, and the importance of supporting Black talk media.

Seth Todd and Brendan McCarthy are both Adult and Teen Librarians of the Free Library of Philadelphia. Seth is from the Cobbs Creek branch, and Brendan is from the Kingsessing branch.

They both joined Dr. Peterson to discuss the Free Library of Philadelphia's Legacy Lab: Black Genealogy Club.

Lanetra King is a publicist and owner of her own PR agency, IndieKater. She has been recognized as one of US Reporter Magazine's '30 Under 30' alongside notable figures like Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott. Lanetra has contributed to major productions such as the BET Awards, Stellar Awards, and Black Music Honors, as well as TNT’s Franklin & Bash and TV One’s The Bobby DeBarge Story.

Lanetra joins the show to further talk about the initiatives of IndieKater, the importance of Black Media, and the role that it plays in today’s current political administration.

Dr. Darrin Anderson is the president and CEO of The Urban League of Greater Philadelphia, an organization that empowers Black Americans and other historically underserved communities to achieve social equity, economic independence, civic power, and full civil rights.

Dr. Anderson joins the show to talk about what The Urban League is doing to positively affect the Black Community in Philadelphia.

Louis Massiah is an American documentary filmmaker, MacArthur Prize winner, and community activist who has worked with Philadelphians to develop filmmaking skills and to access media resources in order to record their own stories. He is also the founder of Scribe Video Center, a non-profit media arts center founded in 1982, with a focus on participatory community filmmaking.

Louis joins the show to further talk about his work at Scribe Video Center, and to talk about the importance of supporting Black Media.

Natasha Parker is a Philadelphia native who is a Senior Correspondent for Women For the Culture, an online community dedicated to empowering women of color by fostering connection, inspiration, and sisterhood. Natasha joins the program to further discuss the initiatives of Women For the Culture, and the significance and relevance of Black Media in our current economic and political climate.

Linn Washington Jr., is a Professor of Journalism at Temple, where he is a co-founder of the award-winning Multimedia Urban Reporting Lab. Linn talks to us about The Justice Department withholding some Epstein files related to allegations that President Trump sexually abused a minor
