Welcome back to the madness that is What HPND 2US. Sam lets the duo of Nate and Huw run the ship, which only ends up in circles and down rabbit holes. The big drop from the week was the recent announcement from Oasis. We take that and go into the idea of gatekeeping. Somehow JLo finds her way into the conversation, which puts us into the world capitals and the breaking down of the Soviet Union. Let's be honest we're going on a weird ride this week in conversation and this might be a residual effect from a couple of weeks back. Stay safe out there folks and talk to you next week.

We're back from a little break and two out of three decided to bring Covid back from said break. To say there's a haze from the Rona would be right. We dive into the passing of Phil Donahue, which is a weird one to talk about. Take a moment to relive some of the underrated late 90s sitcoms. Marvel Jesus makes an appearance with a small review of the Deadpool and Wolverine film. We finally get into a bit of back-to-school chit-chat and rabbit holes. Sooo... there's a bit of drama in the Olympic Village whether it's in the boxing ring, the beds of cardboard, or praise from one athlete to another. We take a little time going over the news within the village that jumps outside quickly. Walz is the running mate for Harris in a bit of a surprise to Huw. We go over the Kennedy story in the central park. We find ourselves going down the typical rabbit holes of conversation. That we do. Hopefully, everyone is safe out there.

Nothing weird going on here some might say. We've got the run of Olympic coverage to keep the days occupied at the moment. There is some heat going on in the world of gymnastics. Nate has discovered a love for Rugby. Opening ceremonies plus Deadpool & Wolverine have something in common at the moment. Finally, Nate brings up some of the big news that came with Comic Con. With the added bonus of us going into the weird stuff going on in the world at the moment. The heat is palpable. Hopefully, everyone is staying safe out there.

There is a funny reason for their bid being accepted. We do take a quick turn going into the recent political news and changes in plans made by the Democratic party. This leads us to a discussion about the possible VP candidates that could be selected. The failure of JD Vance to move the needle in a positive way. Then a rabbit hole of Friends pops up where we dive down followed by a side path of Sex in the CIty. Hopefully, everyone is doing well out there and keeping their lives in check.

It was a fun week of nothing until the madness over the weekend. We take a minute to look at the failure in Miami before the USA gets prepared for the World Cup. This takes a quick turn dealing with the incident in Pennsylvania with the former president. We somehow take that serious subject and shift into a weird music rabbit hole and Freddie Prinze Jr. All in all it's been an odd week. Hopefully, everyone is safe out there.

We're back after a little break from a wedding. This week we dive into the fun of getting boundaries set when it comes to politics. We dive into the new film Beverly Hills Cop: AxelF which takes us into the world of Hollywood. We dive into the oddity of celebrity and the issue of nepotism within the industry. We actually leave a little teaser at the end as Sam discusses some concerns for girls going forward in society. Hopefully, everyone is staying cool through this heatwave and staying safe.

It's been a few weeks since the last recording and we came in lukewarm this week. We've had some interesting moments since we've been gone whether it's some court rulings or the prep to the debate today. We go through the trending moment of one young woman going to Hawk Tuah to explain some performance skills and how Howard Stern seems a bit hypocritical at the moment. The weird moments are happening at Disney at the moment with their new show. We do go into the great poo movement of the Paris Olympics and some other weird moments. We dive into a bit of the box office surprises.

Welcome back to another week of fun things like life. The verdict came down for the orange man and things seem to be going well. JLo has decided to cancel her arena tour and we've got to wonder how Nate knows all this. What are we doing to help the youth in understanding the technology of the past? Seinfeld decided he wanted in on the alpha male chit-chat. Larry David seems to have a case that goes against the idea that comedy is dead. We take a minute or two to talk about the idea of watching a 4-hour movie vs 10 episodes of a show that goes for an hour. We agree that we all have a little issue with Scorsese at the moment. Coming off the long weekend, with those days aren't feeling the same as they used to. The cinema world didn't enjoy the long weekend either with two films flopping their way through. We look into the dating rumors of a certain couple that have been flying under the radar. Sam Ronson pops up in conversation taking us down a weird conversation of DJs and some unfortunate circumstances. Somehow this gets us into a recent conversation with Dennis Quaid. Who'd think that Randy was looking like the sane one? The rabbit hole goes into the new movies coming into theaters this summer and Glenn Powell was the driving force of this talk.
