Soooo... we had an election. It's a hard look in the mirror at what happened for some. We try and rationalize things in a way where things can't be rationalized. Seems like the weather talk got a little more serious as Helene has devastated part of the country. Milton is going to have hit Florida yesterday. We look at the VP debate the other week and all the frustrations that come with the next 30 days. We dive down the rabbit hole of Tik Tok and some other odd political trends. It wasn't the strongest streak for the living since we last recorded. We had the passing of Dikembe Mutombo, Kris Kristofferson, Pete Rose, Maggie Smith, and a few others in the last week. Even after recording, we saw Jon Amos passing away. It's been a week with more to come as the VP debate was around the corner—reactions to come next week with slight predictions here. Nate goes through a few stories of Kristofferson as well as one of the Jason Sudeikis which had us questioning fame. It's been a week and we've got a few things cooking in the pod today. There was a debate on making a shift in platforming as animated animals. Sam brings us back to a recent concert. While we move into the reboots of recent shows and films. Finally, we take the final moments of the show to dive into the Diddy rabbit hole and that's a place to go. With a week off, things got a bit weird in that time with a debate and an arrest. We dive into the arrest of P. Diddy as the press conference was going on while recording. We took all of a minute to dive into the debate as well, which left us with some different takes on dietary restrictions. Somehow taking us into the Elon debate of his questionable genius.
