Chauncey hails from Detroit, Michigan and actually played alongside Cedrick Lattimore in High School, the same school that former Hawkeye Great Desmond King attended, AND right down the road from where Alaric Jackson is from. Chauncey discusses his transition into being a D1 student athlete and what Iowa City and Hawkeye life was all about. He describes the relationships he built inside the program both with players and coaches and how those were something to lean on throughout his career, especially when the turmoil of last summer hit the program.
