Nico and Jonah are back for an all new season of X is for Podcast, and this time they've brought along their newest co-host, Matty! The team takes a look at the story that changed everything; with the X-Men away in the Secret Wars, Kitty Pryde takes front and center! The trio discusses the elements of the Secret Wars that affect the X-Men, namely the love lives of Magneto and Colossus, both men of metal contrasted against romance and betrayal. Then, back on earth, Kitty Pryde & the New Mutants are going through their own coming of age... and it's not pretty. The New Mutants, Kitty, & Doug Ramsey find themselves against the Hellions, Emma Frost of the Hellfire Club's newest squadron of goons, in a battle for the future of mutantkind. Yeah, it's sort of that big. But moreover, the team takes a look at the social issues, realities, and complexities of examining a story from 35 years ago that continues to hold up! All this and more on an all new X is for Podcast! Read along with Secret Wars 1-12 (relevant cutdown pages available on Twitter) & New Mutants 15-17.

Nico, Jonah, Kyle, and Matty continue looking at the return of X! First, the team discusses theories surrounding Kate Pryde and the continued mysteries surrounding her death, disconnection from Krakoa, and more, before turning their attention to one of Kate's most beloved titles, classic Excalibur, and the Captain Britain that led to it! The team highlights the parallels Tini Howard creates between this current run and the classic Jasper's Warp by Alan Moore before a deep dive into the issue itself. All this and more in an all new This is X! Read along with Excalibur #10.

July 24th, 2019: the X-Men changed forever when Charles Xavier uttered the words "To me, my X-Men" in House of X #1. Since then, the X-Men have gained a mystical island, immortality, their own language, and the kind of stability they've always dreamed... so how is everything is still so dangerous and uncertain!? X is for Podcast begins a new era of coverage with THIS IS X: a modern, conversational examination of the X-Men that mixes news, history, and speculation from a diverse group of fans! Join X is for Podcast vets Jonah, Kyle, Matty, and -- of course -- Nico as they cover every angle of what they know of X of Swords (that's a 10, not an X!), then discuss the X-Men's triumphant return to publication with Marauders! Read along with Marauders #10.

The team continues its deep dive into Secret Wars, but also: this is real randy. Maybe it's the quarantine, but the team is MADDDDDD horny for the superheroes in this one. The Wrecking Crew looks hot af, though, and these issues are light on plot. Nico, Jonah, Dylan, Regina, and Kyle examine why Secret Wars 4 has been retold twice, and why the midpoint of the maxi-series represents the beginning of the plot! Join in on an all-new X is for Podcast! Read along with Secret Wars #4-6, Thor #383, and Spider-Man & The Secret Wars #1-2.

Who doesn't love a retcon? The X-Men sure do! The X-Teams have long faced revisions, retellings, and the reorienting of facts, and now the We Are Krakoa team faces them, too!
