Massive increases in coral across the Australian Great Barrier Reef (GBR) have been reported for 2023-24 making it the third record year in a row of heavy growth. Across almost all parts of the 1,500 mile long reef, from the warmer northern waters to the cooler conditions in the south, coral is now at its highest level since detailed observations began. The inconvenient news has been ignored in mainstream media which, curiously, have focused on a non-story in Nature that claimed “climate change” poses an “existential threat” to the GBR.

The students are suing Democrat representatives Sandy Ocasio-Cortez, Jamal Bowman of New York, and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.

Ilhan Omar's daughter was actually one of the organizers at the anti-Jew protests.

Five students filed the lawsuit anonymously, naming Ocasio-Cortez and Democratic Reps. Jamal Bowman of New York and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. The lawsuit also names roughly a dozen anti-Israel organizing groups.

"The Gaza Encampment was extreme and outrageous conduct. It was illegal. It violated university rules. Its occupants harassed, followed, physically blocked, intimidated, and bullied Jewish students," the lawsuit reads.

Two of the five students behind the lawsuit are Jewish.

Hillary Clinton-run group helps fund Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion

Just Stop Oil’s stunts are partly funded by a campaign organisation run by Hillary Clinton, US financial disclosures reveal.

A group founded by Mrs Clinton from the ashes of her failed presidential bid has donated $500,000 (£391,500) in the last three years to the protest group’s California-based financiers.

Just Stop Oil’s largest financial backer is a controversial Californian non-profit, the Climate Emergency Fund (CEF), which pays for stunts by environmental groups across the world, including Extinction Rebellion.

A paper trail of transparency disclosures, seen by The Telegraph, shows that one of the CEF’s major supporters is Onward Together, a campaign organisation founded by Mrs Clinton in the aftermath of her 2016 presidential campaign against Donald Trump.

Recession Triggered: Payrolls Miss Huge, Up Just 114K As Soaring Unemployment Rate Activates "Sahm Rule" Recession 

  BLS reported that in July, the US added just 114K payrolls, a huge miss to expectations of 175K and also a huge drop from the downward revised June print of 206K, now (as always ) revised to just 179K. This was the lowest print since December 2020 (at least prior to even more revisions)...

Of course, these being numbers published by the corrupt Biden, pardon Kamala Department of Goalseeked bullshit, the previous months were revised lower as usual, with May revised down by 2,000, from +218,000 to +216,000, and the change for June was revised down by 27,000, from +206,000 to +179,000. With these revisions, employment in May and June combined is 29,000 lower than previously reported. It gets better because as shown in the next chart shows, 5 of the past 6 months have now been revised lower.

14 People Arrested in Human Trafficking Sting at Comic-Con Event 

Fourteen people were arrested in a human trafficking sting during the annual Comic-Con event in San Diego.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced the operation was conducted between July 25 and 27, and a total of 10 victims were rescued, including one child.

New Jersey AR-15 Ban Ruled Unconstitutional - but Magazine Ban Upheld

  a federal judge struck down New Jersey's ban on the AR-15 rifle but left in place the ban on magazines with greater than a ten-round capacity. U.S. District Judge Peter Sheridan issued the ruling.

New Jersey's ban on the AR-15 rifle is unconstitutional, but the state's cap on magazines over 10 rounds passes constitutional muster, a federal judge said Tuesday.

 This is a qualified win for Second Amendment advocates and, arguably, for the state of New Jersey. While the decision once more acknowledges the Bruen decision, it also side-steps the magazine capacity issue.

This decision will be appealed, and almost certainly by both sides. The magazine ban issue, which rankles (rightly) the pro-Second Amendment side will be challenged, while New Jersey will certainly appeal the decision on the AR-15. For now, though, Second Amendment advocates can celebrate a win - even if it is a mixed blessing - and gird themselves for the next round in this never-ending fight.
