「He will redeem his soul from going down to the Pit,And his life shall see the light.」　

　Amen.

  You cannot be born of your own will. You cannot make your body grow by itself. You cannot choose the time of your death at your convenience. Everything is in the hand of God the Creator. Therefore, it is best to leave everything in God's hands. Then we can have faith and be thankful.

May we count the Lord's blessings today as well.

【ヨブ33:28／新改訳2017】

『神は、私が滅びの穴に下らないように、私のたましいを贖い出してくださった。私のいのちは光を見ることができる」と。』

　自分の意志で生まれることはできない。自力で肉体を成長させることはできない。自分の都合で死ぬ時を選ぶことはできない。すべてが創造主なる神様の御手の中なのです。となれば、神様の御手にすべてを委ねることが一番良いのです。そこから信頼が感謝が生まれるのです。

　今日も、主の恵みを数えることができますように・・・。

 「Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.」 Amen.

　This is the Last Supper. Jesus and his disciples ate, sang Psalms, read the Bible, and prayed. He told them to recognize the bread and wine of the Passover as His body and His blood. It was an indication that the time of His crucifixion was near at hand.

　May we thank the Lord for His love today.

【マル14:23／新改訳2017】

『また、杯を取り、感謝の祈りをささげた後、彼らにお与えになった。彼らはみなその杯から飲んだ。』

　最後の晩餐の描写である。イエス様と弟子たちは、食事をし、詩篇を歌い、聖書を読み、祈った。その時に、過ぎ越しの食事のパンと葡萄酒を、イエス様の体であり、イエス様の血であることを覚えるように弟子たちに明らかにしたのです。それは、これから十字架へと進む意味でもあるのです。

　今日も、主の愛に感謝できますように・・・。

『2:9 博士たちは、王の言ったことを聞いて出て行った。すると見よ。かつて昇るのを見たあの星が、彼らの先に立って進み、ついに幼子のいるところまで来て、その上にとどまった。2:10 その星を見て、彼らはこの上もなく喜んだ。2:11 それから家に入り、母マリアとともにいる幼子を見、ひれ伏して礼拝した。そして宝の箱を開けて、黄金、乳香、没薬を贈り物として献げた。2:12 彼らは夢で、ヘロデのところへ戻らないようにと警告されたので、別の道から自分の国に帰って行った。』　

イエス様のご降誕の状況を時系列で聖書から追ってみると、マリヤの親類エリサベツが妊娠六か月の頃に、マリヤはエリサベツに逢いに行きます。三か月程エリサベツの所に滞在していました。エリサベツがバプテスマのヨハネを生みます。それから、半年後にイエス様がベツレヘムでお生まれになりました。生まれて八日目に割礼を受け、清めの期間が過ぎると、エルサレムへ出かけ、シメオンやアンナから祝福を受けるのです。そして、二年後に東方の博士たちがやってきて、礼拝するのです。そのご、すぐにエジプトへ避難するのです。そして、ヘロデ王が死んでから、ナザレに住むようになったのです。だから、イエス様を礼拝する時に、羊飼いたちと東方の博士たちが一緒にいるのはないのです。東方の博士たちが三人だとは聖書には書かれてはいません。いずれにしても、イエス様が生まれた時に、礼拝者たちが起こされて礼拝を捧げたのです。時間的に二年間の時間的経過がありました。それでも、イエス様を受け入れた人々が礼拝者になりました。礼拝者とは、約束を喜びとして従った人々のことです。また、聖霊の感動にすぐ従順した人々です。そのような人々がクリスマスを祝い、礼拝したのです。

お祈りします。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。このアドベントの時期にまた新たにイエス様のことを知る事ができ感謝します。イエス様がこの世に来られた本当の意味を知ることができますように一人一人をお導き願います。全世界が平和でありますように、このクリスマスの時期に戦いが終息し、平和が訪れますようにお願いします。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。　アーメン。

「'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'」 Amen.

The prophet Jeremiah heard God's word. It was the watchtower garden where he was confined. His life was full of hardships. But God spoke the word of comfort to him as he lived his life without leaving God, without cursing God, without denying God.

May the Word of the Lord comfort you today.

【エレ33:3／新改訳2017】

『わたしを呼べ。そうすれば、わたしはあなたに答え、あなたが知らない理解を超えた大いなることを、あなたに告げよう。』

　神様の言葉を聞いたのは、預言者エレミヤでした。聞いた場所は、閉じ込められていた監視の庭でした。エレミヤの人生を振り返ってみると、苦難の連続でした。でも、その中にあっても、神様から離れることなく、神様を呪うことなく、神様を否むことなく、過ごしていたエレミヤに神様の慰めの言葉が語られるのです。

　今日も、主のみ言葉に慰められますように・・・。

「Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.」　Amen.

　God wants our souls to be blessed, our lives to be blessed, and our bodies to be blessed. This letter was written by the Apostle John to Gaius, a fervent believer. Gaius was hospitable to itinerant evangelists and missionaries. He allowed them to stay in his home, supported them financially, and helped them on their journeys. John praised him and prayed for the threefold blessing upon him.

　May your souls be blessed, may all be blessed and be in good health today as well.

【Ⅲヨハ1:2／新改訳2017】

『愛する者よ。あなたのたましいが幸いを得ているように、あなたがすべての点で幸いを得、また健康であるように祈ります。』

　魂が祝福され、生活が祝福され、肉体が祝福されることを神様は願っているのです。この手紙は、使徒ヨハネから熱心な信者ガイオへと書かれたものです。ガイオは、巡回伝道者や宣教師たちを厚くもてなしていました。宿を提供したり、経済的な援助をしたり、旅の手助けをしたり、そんな彼を褒め、三拍子の祝福を祈ったのです。

　今日も、魂が恵まれ、すべてが恵まれ、健やかでありますように・・・。

「In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace」 Amen.

　To set slaves free, a price was necessary. And in the Old Testament era, animal sacrifices were necessary for forgiveness. Both of these were fulfilled through Jesus' crucifixion. That's why now, we don't need to pay a price or offer sacrifices. Our liberation from the slavery of sin and our forgiveness are solely by the grace of God who loves us unconditionally.

　May we be grateful for the grace of the Lord today as well.
