【ナホ2:1／新改訳2017】

『追い散らす者が、おまえに向かって上って来る。塁を見守り、道を見張れ。腰を強くし、大いに力を奮い立たせよ。』

  これは、ニネべに対する裁きの預言なのです。ニネベはアッシリヤの首都、ＢＣ７２２年に北イスラエルはアッシリヤに滅ぼされ、捕囚の民となってアッシリヤへ連れていかれました。そして、ＢＣ６１２年には、アッシリヤはバビロンに滅ぼされるのです。その時の様子が預言者ナホムによって語られているのです。

　今日も、主と共に歩むことができますように・・・。

「Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.」 Amen.

  Jesus' death on the cross is all that is needed to atone for our sins. We no longer need to offer sacrifices forever. Through the death of His cross, we have been cleansed of our conscience, freed from the thorn of death, and set free from the guilt of our sins. We have been given eternal life. There is nothing but grace.

May we thank the Lord for His grace today as well.

【ヘブル9:12／新改訳2017】

『また、雄やぎと子牛の血によってではなく、ご自分の血によって、ただ一度だけ聖所に入り、永遠の贖いを成し遂げられました。』

  イエス様の一度の十字架の死によって、私たちの罪は贖われました。もう、いけにえを捧げる必要は永遠になくなりました。イエス様の十字架の死によって、良心をきよめていただき、死のとげから解放され、罪の罪責感からも解き放たれました。永遠の命を得ることができました。ただただ恵みのみです。

　今日も、主の恵みに感謝できますように・・・。

【エペ1:14／新改訳2017】

『聖霊は私たちが御国を受け継ぐことの保証です。このことは、私たちが贖われて神のものとされ、神の栄光がほめたたえられるためです。』

　聖霊は、イエス様を信じる時に与えられるものなのです。すると、聖霊の力によって、愛・喜び・平安・寛容・親切・善意・誠実・柔和・自制という実が実ってくるのです。行いによって与えられるのではなく、信じると与えられるのです。信じることが先なのです。そうすると、見えないものが見えるようになり、必要なものが与えられるのです。

　今日も、主のフィルターを通して研ぎ澄まされますように・・・。

「who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.」 Amen.

The Holy Spirit is given to us when we believe in Jesus. Then, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we will bear the fruits of love, joy, peace, generosity, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control. They are not given by deeds, but by believing. Belief comes first. Then you will be able to see what you cannot see, and what you need will be given to you.

May you be sharpened through the Lord's filter today.

【詩92:12／新改訳2017】

『正しい者はなつめ椰子の木のように萌え出でレバノンの杉のように育ちます。』

　ナツメヤシの木は、樹齢が長い事で知られており、高く立ち、長く生きることを意味します。また、レバノンの杉は堅く、力強いものだそうです。だから、神様を信じる者は、その環境の風に動かされることはなく、真っ直ぐと力強く立ち、その力と活力に満ちた生活を得ることができると語っているのです。

　今日も、主のみ言葉に立つことができますように・・・。

「The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.」

　Amen.

Date palms are known for their longevity, which means they stand tall and live long. Also, Lebanese cedars are said to be hard and strong. That is why I am saying that those who believe in God will not be moved by the winds of their environment, but will be able to stand upright and strong and have a life full of that strength and vitality.

I hope you can stand by the word of the Lord today as well.

【ガラ4:9／新改訳2017】

『しかし、今では神を知っているのに、いや、むしろ神に知られているのに、どうして弱くて貧弱な、もろもろの霊に逆戻りして、もう一度改めて奴隷になりたいと願うのですか。』

　これは、パウロがガラテヤの人々に出した手紙ですが、ガラテヤの人々は中東の偶像礼拝の中で暮らしていました。そこから、パウロによってイエス様を信じたのですが、パウロが去ると、また元の生活に戻ろうとしていたのです。それを危惧したパウロの手紙なのです。宝が素晴らしければ土の器は問題ではない。そして、その宝を大切に思っているということを神様に知られているのです。

　今日も、主と共に歩むことができますように・・・。

 「But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage?」　

 Amen.

　This is Paul's letter to the Galatians, who were living in idolatry in the Middle East. From there, they believed in Jesus through Paul, but when Paul left, they were about to return to their former lives. That is what Paul's letter was concerned about. If the treasure is great, the earthen vessel doesn't matter. And God knows that we care about that treasure.

May we walk with Him today as well.

【ヨブ19:25／新改訳2017】

『私は知っている。私を贖う方は生きておられ、ついには、土のちりの上に立たれることを。』

　ウツという地に住んでいたヨブは、東の人々の中で、一番の有力者でした。家族に恵まれ、多くの財産を持ち、人望も厚く、敬虔な信仰者でした。その彼に悲しい出来事が起きました。一瞬のうちにすべてを失い、自らも病気になってしまいました。しかし、この出来事を通して、真の神様に出会う体験をすることができました。大きく用いられる人は、大きく折られるのです。

　今日も、主の恵みに触れることができますように・・・。
