『【主】よ耳を傾けて私に答えてください。私は苦しみ貧しいのです。』　（詩86:1）【新改訳2017】

　これは、ダビデの祈りですが、ダビデの苦悩と必要を端的に言い表しています。神様を信じていない人も、窮地に陥った時に、思わず「神様！」と口走ることがあると思いますが、神様を信じているダビデは、絶えず、神様に祈りつつ過ごしていたのです。困難や痛みが大き過ぎると、万難を尽くしてしまうと、もう、神様に叫ぶしかないのです。

　今日も、主に祈る一日となりますように・・・。

『しかし私は絶えずあなたとともにいました。あなたは私の右の手をしっかりとつかんでくださいました。』　（詩73:23）【新改訳2017】

　私が苦しかった時も、あなたはそばにいてくださり、私が歩けない時もあなたはそばにいてくださり、ときには、背負ってくださり、白髪が増えた今も、背負って下さっています。私が、あなたを感じていてもいなくても、確かに、あなたは私の人生を共に歩いてくださっていました。ただ、ただ、感謝です。

　今日も、主の恵みに感謝できますように・・・。

「Nevertheless I am continually with You;You hold me by my right hand.」　Amen.

　When I was in pain, you were by my side, when I couldn't walk, you were by my side, sometimes you carry me, and even in old age, you still carry me. Whether I felt you or not, you certainly have walked with me in my life. I'm just giving thanks.

　May we give thanks to the grace of the Lord today as well.

『ギデオンは言った。「ああ、主よ。どうすれば私はイスラエルを救えるでしょうか。ご存じのように、私の氏族はマナセの中で最も弱く、そして私は父の家で一番若いのです。」』　（士6:15）【新改訳2017】

　士師のうちのひとりギデオンは、弱々しい若者でした。イスラエルを救える勇者には程遠い若者でしたが、神様は、そんなギデオンにその仕事を託したのです。「私は、あなたと共にある」と、言って励まし、神様のしるしを見せて力を与えたのです。すると、ギデオンは、立ち上がり、その仕事を全うしたのです。

　今日も、主の力を信じることができますように・・・。

 「So he said to Him, "O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house."」　Amen.

　Gideon, one of the priests, was a weak and young man. He was a young man who was not suitable for a brave man to save Israel, but God entrusted the work to Gideon. "I am with you," he said, encouraging and empowering him by showing the signs of God. Then Gideon rose up and did the work.

　May you believe in the power of the Lord today as well.

『十字架のことばは、滅びる者たちには愚かであっても、救われる私たちには神の力です。』　（Ⅰコリ1:18）【新改訳2017】

　神様を信じない人にとっては、また、魂の救いに関心がない人にとっては、十字架の言葉は愚かしいものに聞こえるに違いありません。でも、救われた人にとっては、それは、力となるのです。いくら哲学を極めても、いくら修行に明け暮れても、いくら才能豊かであっても関係ないのです。ただ、信じれば救われるのです。

　今日も、救われた喜びを感じることができますように・・・。

「For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.」 Amen.

  The words of the cross will sound ridiculous to those who do not believe in God, and are not interested in salvation of the soul. But for those who are saved, it helps. It doesn't matter how much philosophy you have, how much you devote yourself to training, or how talented you are. If you just believe it, you will be saved.

May you feel the joy of being saved today as well.

 「We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;」　  Amen.

  When you're at a loss what to do, get stuck, and can't see the exit, take a break and look up at the Lord God. God never abandons us, never gives up, never let us go, always watches over us, and looks at us with a smile. "Go in peace. The presence of the Lord be with you on your way."

May the peace of the Lord be poured on you today as well.

『私たちは四方八方から苦しめられますが、窮することはありません。途方に暮れますが、行き詰まることはありません。』　（Ⅱコリ4:8）【新改訳2017】

　進退窮まっている、行き詰っている、出口が見えない、そんな時に一息ついて、主なる神様を見上げると、何だか落ち着きませんか？神様は、決して見捨てることなく、見放すことなく、見逃すことなく、私たちをいつも見守り、微笑みを持って見つめ続けていてくださるのです。「あなたの旅は、主が認めておられる、安心して行きなさい」

　今日も、主の平安が注がれますように・・・。

『【主】よあなたがもし不義に目を留められるなら主よだれが御前に立てるでしょう。』　（詩130:3）【新改訳2017】

　私の中にあるものは、神に褒められるようなものは何一つない。自己中心、自己嫌悪、自己欺瞞、そこに神様が目を留めていたら、耐えられるものではありません。しかし、神様は、それを知りつつ、何も言わずに、救ってくださったのです。これは、ただただ神様の一方的な恵みなのです。

　今日も、神様の恵みに感謝できますように・・・。
