「The words of a talebearer are like tasty trifles,

　And they go down into the inmost body.」Amen.

 If we are not aware of it, it is easy to get on the bandwagon of gossiping and talking behind people's backs. Conversations at well-wishers and taverns seem to be full of such talk. Like good food, if you swallow it, you will suffer the consequences. The Bible puts it this way. (Job 20:14) "Yet his food in his stomach turns sour;It becomes cobra venom within him." The words in our hearts and the words out of our mouths must become one. For this to happen, we want our hearts to be filled with the Word of God, not the poison of cobra.

　May we be filled with the Word of the Lord today....

『陰口をたたく者のことばは、おいしい食べ物。

　腹の奥に下って行く。』

　意識していないと、人の陰口やゴシップ話には、乗りやすいものです。井戸端会議や居酒屋での会話はそのような話が多いように思われます。おいしい食べ物のように、それを飲み込んでしまったら、大変な結果になります。聖書ではこのように言われます。「ヨブ20:14 彼が食べた物は腹の中で変わり、彼の内側でコブラの毒となる。」心の中の言葉と口から出る言葉が一つにならなければなりません。その為には、心の中がコブラの毒ではなく、神のみ言葉で満たされたいものです。

　今日も、主のみ言葉で満たされますように・・・。

「When the wicked comes, contempt comes also;

　And with dishonor comes reproach.」Amen.

 The "wicked" in the Bible are not evil people who commit robbery, murder, fraud, etc., but those who do not recognize God as God and do not desire His love and righteousness. Thus, the "wicked" include those who are kind, caring, and dependable. But God created every person, and human beings are nothing more than creatures made by God. Therefore, even if you think you are living a fine life without God, it is wiser to choose the path that will bring you into the presence of God after you die.

『悪しき者が来ると、侮りも来る。

　辱めとともに、そしりも。』

　聖書で言う「悪しき者」とは、強盗、殺人、詐欺などを働く悪者ではなく、神を神として認めず、神の愛や義を望まない人たちのことです。従って、「悪しき者」のなかには、優しく思いやりのある頼りがいのある人たちも含まれるのです。でも、どんな人も神が造られたのであり、人間は神から造られた被造物に過ぎないのです。だから、自分は神がいなくても立派に生きていると思っていても、死んだ後に神の前に出られる道を選んだ方が賢明なのです。

　今日も、神の祝福に与ることができますように・・・。　　

「A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire;

　He rages against all wise judgment.」Amen.

Those who keep their mind blinds closed, those who leave them open, and those who close and open them, each has its own merits and demerits. Here we are referring to those with closed hearts. God created human beings as objects of love. And He said that it was very good. But man, defeated by his own desires, began to hide from God. He built a wall of separation between himself and God.(Ephesians 2:14) "For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,"

　May Jesus' love liberate you today....　

『自らを閉ざす者は自分の欲望のままに求め、

　すべての知性と仲たがいする。』

　心のブラインドを閉じたままの人、開けっ放しの人、閉じたり開けたりする人、それぞれにメリトやデメリットがあります。ここでは、閉ざされた心の人に言及しています。神様は、愛する対象として人間をお造りになりました。そして、非常に良かったと言われました。しかし、自分の欲望に負けた人間は、神から隠れるようになりました。そして、自ら隔ての壁を作ってしまったのです。　

「エペ2:14 実に、キリストこそ私たちの平和です。キリストは私たち二つのものを一つにし、ご自分の肉において、隔ての壁である敵意を打ち壊し、・・・」

　今日も、イエス様の愛によって解放されますように・・・。

『 私が伝えたいことは、こうです。わずかだけ蒔く者はわずかだけ刈り入れ、豊かに蒔く者は豊かに刈り入れます。9:7 一人ひとり、いやいやながらでなく、強いられてでもなく、心で決めたとおりにしなさい。神は、喜んで与える人を愛してくださるのです。9:8 神はあなたがたに、あらゆる恵みをあふれるばかりに与えることがおできになります。あなたがたが、いつもすべてのことに満ち足りて、すべての良いわざにあふれるようになるためです。9:9 「彼は貧しい人々に惜しみなく分け与えた。彼の義は永遠にとどまる」と書かれているようにです。9:10 種蒔く人に種と食べるためのパンを与えてくださる方は、あなたがたの種を備え、増やし、あなたがたの義の実を増し加えてくださいます。9:11 あなたがたは、あらゆる点で豊かになって、すべてを惜しみなく与えるようになり、それが私たちを通して神への感謝を生み出すのです。9:12 なぜなら、この奉仕の務めは、聖徒たちの欠乏を満たすだけではなく、神に対する多くの感謝を通してますます豊かになるからです。』

お祈りします。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。あなたは、私たちを豊かな人生へと誘ってくださっていますから感謝します。いつでもどこでもあなたのみ言葉に聴き従うことができますようにお導き願います。また、あなたは蒔いた通りに刈り取ると言われました。私たちが喜び踊りながら種を蒔くことができますようにお助け願います。与える人生となりますようにお願いします。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈りいたします。アーメン。

「He who has knowledge spares his words,

　And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.」Amen.

　The Book of Amos says, "the prudent keep silent at that time." I am not talking about those who have nothing in their hearts that they cannot speak, but those who have many thoughts and yet keep silence. They have keen discernment. Especially in the spirit, that discernment is required. For this, we need to pray for them on a regular basis. Whenever a disturbing event occurs, take a deep breath, look up, and pray before you do anything, and you will get a good result.

　May we pray to the Lord today....

『ことばを控える人は知識を持つ者。

　霊において冷静な人は英知のある者。』

　アモス書には、「賢い者は沈黙を守る」と書かれてあります。心の中に何もなくて語れないのではなく、多くの考えがありながら、沈黙を守る人たちの事です。彼らは、見極めが鋭いのです。特に、霊においては、その見極めが求められるのです。その為には、常日頃から祈り続けていく必要があります。心騒がせる出来事が起こったら、一つ深呼吸して、上を見上げて祈ってから、事に当たると良い結果が得られることでしょう。

　今日も、主に向かって祈ることができますように・・・。　　

「A merry heart does good,

　like medicine,But a broken spirit dries the bones.」Amen.

Laughter is said to be good medicine for the soul. We often find such a verse in the Bible. (Proverbs 15:13) "A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance、he who is of a merry heart has a continual feast." But it is hard to laugh if your heart is not filled with joy. When we are forgiven of our sins and at peace with God, our hearts are filled with joy.
