『神は夜、夢でアラム人ラバンに現れて仰せられた。

　「あなたは気をつけて、

　ヤコブと事の善悪を論じないようにしなさい。」』

　ヤコブは、妻を得るために、１４年間、それに加えて６年間、合わせて２０年間を叔父ラバンと共同生活をしました。そこにはたくさんの確執を生じました。そこで、ヤコブは自分の故郷へ戻ることを決心するのです。夜逃げするように。その時に、ラバンは追跡し、追いついた時に、ラバンに神が現れて、「ヤコブと論争しないように」と言われたのです。哀れなヤコブにも神は守りのマントを投げかけておられたのです。

　今日も、主の守りの内に過ごされますように・・・。　

「And Laban said to him,

　"Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes,

　for I have learned by experience that

　the Lord has blessed me for your sake."」　　Amen.

 Jacob's relationship with his uncle Laban was one of deception and trickery. But here Laban says, “I know that the Lord has blessed me because of you.” Jacob served Laban for seven years, and then served him for another seven years. (Ephesians 6:6-7）, “not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,”

　May we serve our neighbors as we serve the Lord today....

『ラバンは彼に言った。

　「私の願いをあなたがかなえてくれるなら──。

　あなたのおかげで【主】が私を祝福してくださったことを、

　私は占いで知っている。」』

　ヤコブと叔父ラバンの関係は騙し騙され、化かし合いのような関係でした。でも、ここでラバンは言うのです。「あなたのおかげで主が祝福して下さっていることを知っている」と。ヤコブは、ラバンに7年仕え、そして、もう7年も仕えたのです。「エペ6:6-7 ご機嫌取りのような、うわべだけの仕え方ではなく、キリストのしもべとして心から神のみこころを行い、人にではなく主に仕えるように、喜んで仕えなさい。」

　今日も、主に仕えるように隣人に仕えることができますように・・・。　

「So Jacob served seven years for Rachel,

　and they seemed only a few days to him

　because of the love he had for her.」　　Amen.

　Jacob deceived his father Isaac. I don't know if it was retribution or not, but his uncle Laban deceived him and made him work for seven years. But he told us that those years seemed like days because he loved Rachel. With love, even time can be transcended, and even suffering can be transformed into a sweet event. Spending time in the love of Jesus is the happiest time.

　May you spend today in His love....

『ヤコブはラケルのために七年間仕えた。

　ヤコブは彼女を愛していたので、

　それもほんの数日のように思われた。』

　ヤコブは父イサクを騙してしまいました。その報いなのかどうかは分かりませんが、叔父ラバンに騙され、７年間も働かされるのです。でも、その年月は、ラケルを愛していたので数日のように思われたと語ったのです。愛があれば、時間さえも超越し、苦難さえも甘美な出来事として変えられるのです。イエス様の愛の中で過すことは、一番幸せな時間なのです。

　今日も、主の愛の中で過ごされますように・・・。　

「Then he dreamed, and behold,

　a ladder was set up on the earth,

　and its top reached to heaven;

　and there the angels of God were ascending

　and descending on it.」　　Amen.

　Jacob had a dream. He dreamed that heaven and earth were connected by a ladder, and that God's messenger was going up and down. He was on a wandering journey. God was watching. And He gave Jacob the strength to stand up. (Genesis 28:15)“Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”　

　May we be mindful of the Lord's words of promise today....

『すると彼は夢を見た。

　見よ、一つのはしごが地に立てられていた。

　その上の端は天に届き、見よ、神の使いたちが、

　そのはしごを上り下りしていた。』

　ヤコブは夢を見ました。天と地がひとつのはしごで結ばれ、神の使いが上り下りしている夢でした。流浪の旅の途中でした。神様は見ておられたのです。そして、ヤコブを立ち上がらせる力を与えて下さったのです。「創28:15 見よ。わたしはあなたとともにいて、あなたがどこへ行っても、あなたを守り、あなたをこの地に連れ帰る。わたしは、あなたに約束したことを成し遂げるまで、決してあなたを捨てない。」　

　今日も、主の約束のみ言葉に心を留めますように・・・。

「When Esau heard the words of his father,

　he cried with an exceedingly great and bitter cry,

　and said to his father,

　"Bless me-me also, O my father!"」　Amen.

　Esau gave his firstborn rights to his brother Jacob to satisfy his own appetite. It is too late to ask for a blessing after the fact. In life, there are times when we release an act we should not do or a word we should not say. If it is something that cannot be undone, you are in big trouble. Esau traded the absolute right of being the firstborn son for a couple of boiled lentils. We should spend our time praying to the Lord anytime and anywhere.

　Today, too, may we spend our time praying to the Lord....

『エサウは父のことばを聞くと、

　声の限りに激しく泣き叫び、父に言った。

　「お父さん、私を祝福してください。私も。」』

　エサウは、自分の食欲を満たす為に長子の権利を弟ヤコブに譲ってしまいました。後から祝福してくださいと頼んでも、もう遅いのです。人生において、してはいけない行為や言ってはいけない言葉を放つ場合があります。それが取り返しのきかない事だったら、大変な事になります。エサウは長子という絶対的な権利と二束三文のレンズ豆の煮物とを交換したのです。いつでもどこでも主に祈りながら過ごしていきたいものです。

　今日も、主に祈りながら過すことができますように・・・。　

『25:1 【主】はモーセに告げられた。25:2 「わたしに奉納物を携えて来るように、イスラエルの子らに告げよ。あなたがたは、すべて、進んで献げる心のある人から、わたしへの奉納物を受け取らなければならない。25:3 彼らから受け取る奉納物は次のものである。金、銀、青銅、25:4 青、紫、緋色の撚り糸、亜麻布、やぎの毛、25:5 赤くなめした雄羊の皮、じゅごんの皮、アカシヤ材、

25:6 ともしび用の油、注ぎの油と、香り高い香のための香料、25:7 エポデや胸当てにはめ込む、縞めのうや宝石である。25:8 彼らにわたしのための聖所を造らせよ。そうすれば、わたしは彼らのただ中に住む。』

お祈りいたします。

どんな状況の中であっても、どんな環境の中であっても、いつも主を見上げつつ過ごすことができますようにお願いします。今あるもので満足し、前へ進む決断ができますようにお導き願います。イエス様は、昨日も今日も変わることがありませんから感謝します。信仰の創始者で完成者なるイエス様から目を離すことがないように助けて下さい。今日の礼拝を感謝し、すべてを感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈りいたします。
