「Do not malign a servant to his master,

　Lest he curse you,

　and you be found guilty.」　Amen.

Whether we slander the other party or mediate, the result is a world of difference. Jesus did not slander us sinful people, but He was a bridge to God the Father. In other words, He mediated. As a result, we have eternal life and are allowed to come into God's presence despite our sinfulness. (Rome 8:34)“Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”

『しもべのことを、

　その主人に中傷してはならない。

　そうでないと、彼はあなたをののしり、

　あなたは罰を受けることになる。』

　相手を中傷するのか、仲介するのかでは、その結果は段違いとなります。イエス様は、罪多き私たちを中傷するのではなく、父なる神様へと橋渡しをされました。つまり、仲介をして下さったのです。その結果、私たちは永遠の命を得ることができ、罪深き身ながら、神様の前に出ることが許されたのです。（ロマ書8:34)「だれが、私たちを罪ありとするのですか。死んでくださった方、いや、よみがえられた方であるキリスト・イエスが、神の右の座に着き、しかも私たちのために、とりなしていてくださるのです。」

　今日も、主の執り成しに感謝できますように・・・。　

「Two things I request of You

　(Deprive me not before I die):」　Amen.

Proverbs 30 is the words of a man named Agur, who prayed for two things here. One was to keep away from falsehoods, and the other was to be fed with the allotted portion. These two prayers contain three important points. Salvation from unbelief and falsehood. Salvation from complacency, forgetting hunger and thirst. Salvation from the temptation of evil. (Proverbs 30:9) “Lest I be full and deny You,And say, "Who is the Lord?"Or lest I be poor and steal,And profane the name of my God.”

『二つのことをあなたにお願いします。

　私が死なないうちに、それをかなえてください。』

　箴言３０章は、アグルという人の言葉で、ここで二つの事を祈ったのです。偽りの言葉を遠ざけてください、そして、定められた分で養ってくださいという二つでした。この二つの祈りには、三つの大事な要点が含まれています。不信実と偽りからの救い。飢え渇きを忘れた自己満足からの救い。悪の誘惑からの救い。(箴言30:9)「私が満腹してあなたを否み、「【主】とはだれだ」と言わないように。また、私が貧しくなって盗みをし、私の神の御名を汚すことのないように。」

　今日も、主に導かれますように・・・。　

『2:9 博士たちは、王の言ったことを聞いて出て行った。すると見よ。かつて昇るのを見たあの星が、彼らの先に立って進み、ついに幼子のいるところまで来て、その上にとどまった。2:10 その星を見て、彼らはこの上もなく喜んだ。2:11 それから家に入り、母マリアとともにいる幼子を見、ひれ伏して礼拝した。そして宝の箱を開けて、黄金、乳香、没薬を贈り物として献げた。2:12 彼らは夢で、ヘロデのところへ戻らないようにと警告されたので、別の道から自分の国に帰って行った。』　

イエス様のご降誕の状況を時系列で聖書から追ってみると、マリヤの親類エリサベツが妊娠六か月の頃に、マリヤはエリサベツに逢いに行きます。三か月程エリサベツの所に滞在していました。エリサベツがバプテスマのヨハネを生みます。それから、半年後にイエス様がベツレヘムでお生まれになりました。生まれて八日目に割礼を受け、清めの期間が過ぎると、エルサレムへ出かけ、シメオンやアンナから祝福を受けるのです。そして、二年後に東方の博士たちがやってきて、礼拝するのです。そのご、すぐにエジプトへ避難するのです。そして、ヘロデ王が死んでから、ナザレに住むようになったのです。だから、イエス様を礼拝する時に、羊飼いたちと東方の博士たちが一緒にいるのはないのです。東方の博士たちが三人だとは聖書には書かれてはいません。いずれにしても、イエス様が生まれた時に、礼拝者たちが起こされて礼拝を捧げたのです。時間的に二年間の時間的経過がありました。それでも、イエス様を受け入れた人々が礼拝者になりました。礼拝者とは、約束を喜びとして従った人々のことです。また、聖霊の感動にすぐ従順した人々です。そのような人々がクリスマスを祝い、礼拝したのです。

お祈りします。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。このアドベントの時期にまた新たにイエス様のことを知る事ができ感謝します。イエス様がこの世に来られた本当の意味を知ることができますように一人一人をお導き願います。全世界が平和でありますように、このクリスマスの時期に戦いが終息し、平和が訪れますようにお願いします。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。　アーメン。

「Every word of God is pure;

　He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.」Amen.

　Often the words of men become old and useless after a few years. But the words of the Bible, though written thousands of years ago, are still alive today. They are bestsellers. They enrich, empower, and guide the lives of people around the world. (Isaiah 40:8) “The grass withers, the flower fades,But the word of our God stands forever.”　

　May we listen to the Word of the Lord today....

『神のことばは、すべて精錬されている。

　神は、ご自分に身を避ける者の盾。』

　人の言葉は数年も経つと古びて役に立たないものとなってしまうことが多々あります。でも、聖書の言葉は、数千年前に書かれたものですが、今も生きているのです。ベストセラーなのです。世界の人々の生活を潤し、力づけ、導いているのです。(イザヤ40:8)「草はしおれ、花は散る。しかし、私たちの神のことばは永遠に立つ。」　

　今日も、主のみ言葉に耳を傾けることができますように・・・。

「Surely I am more stupid than any man,

　And do not have the understanding of a man.」 Amen.

　[colloquial translation] “I am indeed more foolish than men, and I have not the understanding of men.” translate it as. I am not a person of high intellectual level by nature, but as I get older, I am astonished at how much I do not know. Although I know nothing, I am glad that I know “the One who surely knows”.

　May today be another day of knowing the Lord....

『まことに、私は粗野で、人ではない。

　私には人間としての分別がない。』

　【口語訳】「わたしは確かに人よりも愚かであり、わたしには人の悟りがない。」と、訳しています。私は、もともと知的レベルが高い人間ではありませんが、年を重ねるにつれ、知らない事が何と多いことかと愕然とします。何も知らない私ではありますが、「確かに知っている方」を知っているので、良しとしています。

　今日も、主を知る一日となりますように・・・。　

「The fear of man brings a snare,

　But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.」　Amen.

The world is now in a state of chaos. It is also a place where the leadership of world leaders is being questioned. However, when they are at the top of power, they tend to become arrogant and look at other people's faces. That is where the trap lies. If we live our lives fearing God rather than fearing others, our way of life will naturally be shown to us. And you will be protected at all times.

　May you live in the Lord's protection today....
