Despite the adverse weather conditions, the "carnival escape" to the unfortunately very wet Lorraine region was a nice break for dear Andreas, so that today, on March 1st, 2026, he can go to work fresh and rested to present this 456th episode to you fans! Overall, the current playlist has turned out to be a little livelier than you would expect from a podcast called "XtraChill" – but sometimes things just happen without you having any influence on them, because the selected artists (including one female artist!) definitely provide a fitting selection for the gently blossoming spring. See for yourselves!

On this "Carnival Sunday," on February 15th, 2026, the signs point not only to revelry but also to gloomy and cold weather — will the clouds follow dear Andreas all the way to the French department of Moselle, where he has retreated for his "Carnival escape" this year? We shall see! In any case, this 455th episode of "XtraChill" was produced before the arrival of the revelers and uploaded to the server from a safe distance. Today, there are six new artists, sometimes by theme, sometimes by genre, or sometimes simply as colorful as confetti. Well then: Alaaf and Helau!

Instead of succumbing to the gloomy January weather, our dear Andreas has released a very special episode 453 of "XtraChill" today, on January, 15th 2026! Regular broadcasting is kicking off with a novelty, as the first "threesome" of the year is not only dedicated to a new netlabel, but also expands the unfortunately still very poor "women's quota" with three new female artists. To balance things out, there is new music from three gentlemen who are all long-standing partners of this podcast – and another new introduction to round things off, with the first track from the still young year 2026! Enjoy!

According to meteorologists, winter begins today, on December 1st, 2025, and so does Advent. AND, even more importantly, the "XtraChill" podcast is celebrating a semi-milestone episode anniversary with its 450th episode! To mark the occasion, the lovely Andreas is treating himself and his listeners to an episode under the motto: "Speech is silver, silence is golden" – because today's focus is on a six-piece set from different areas of podcast electronica. So, not a "threesome" this time, but rather a "gang bang" of music – completely chaste and suitable for all ages, of course. So, snuggle up in your favorite spot and enjoy this fine selection of musical advent treats!
