XtraChill

The merry month of May is the classic month for falling in love, which is probably why an (unintentional) focus has crept into the compilation of this 439th episode of "XtraChill", as many of the pieces of music presented today are collaborations between several artists. A second conspicuous feature, which is also unintentional, is the fact that half of the guests come from South America - a continent that has often been in the spotlight in recent months - and especially concentrated today, on May 15th, 2025. Andreas wishes you lots of fun with this spring-fresh selection of podsafe electronica!

Finally, FINALLY spring - at least in the Voreifel! The gardens are slowly becoming colorful - which may also be due to the one or other carnival costume that can be admired on the streets today, on March 1st, 2025, because so shortly before the most important Rhineland holiday, Shrove Monday, there are many party people on the streets! Anyone who, like dear Andreas, can't do anything with it can retreat and listen to this 433rd episode of "XtraChill", which offers quite a contrast to the carnival sound. And a new net label can also be discovered on this tour. Alaaf and Helau!

With episode 432 of "XtraChill", which is available on the server from today, February 15th, the "old" year 2024 is (almost) over, because there is (almost) only music from 2025 on the playlist - with five new artists and the first "XL bouncer" of the year: a piece that dear Andreas has been putting off since December because it hasn't fit into any episode conceptually so far. Otherwise, most of the music is again divided into two sets of three, sometimes with a theme and sometimes as a colorful mix. Variety is guaranteed in any case!

When producing this episode of "XtraChill", dear Andreas had to hurry up because he almost missed the deadline, today's February 1st, 2025, due to a spontaneous vacation to Zeeland on the Dutch coast! But it worked out after all, otherwise you wouldn't be reading these lines now - and listening to the great playlist. Today, alongside other interesting music titles, the third new net label from the New Year's episode is the focus of attention. The (sub)label "DeepStiched Records" from South Africa introduces itself and its artists with an intensive "threesome" - and thus presents a cross-section of the label's deep and minimal house catalog. Enjoy listening!

Prosit Neujahr!

The dreary January is all about New Year's rituals! After the annual New Year's concert, the episode in which the remaining stocks of the old year are processed always follows on the 15th of the month. In 2025, things are a little different, because dear Andreas is using this 430th episode of "XtraChill" to take a closer look at two new net labels that were already introduced in the last episode: "Sound Avenue" and the "Velvet Dub Collective" are opening their catalog and presenting themselves with a "threesome" each. That gets you in the mood straight away - also because your host is foregoing the "Dry January" and enjoying a few (not dry) martinis during the recording. Cheers!
