On this episode of The Truth Josh sits down with renowned big game houndsman and Houndsman XP team member Shorty Gorham to talk puppy training.
Hound puppy training is one of if not the most difficult type of dog training there is, and there are many differences between training a dog to compete in the east, and training a dog to trail lions in the arid southwest.
Josh and Shorty discuss those differences and how they go about the challenges that puppy training presents in a very fun and informative conversation between two guys that just love hounds.

This is the last of the episodes recorded at the THA meet earlier this year featuring falconers from Texas, and it's a fun one! Tony and Mel Lyons joined me to talk about their unique experiences getting introduced to the world of falconry, particularly in regards to their respective apprenticeships and the harder path they had to take during that time. We have some fun at this expense of our mutual friend Sheldon, who you all heard from earlier as a guest, and they also talked about their experiences flying falcons, Cooper's hawks, and other fun stuff! Thanks again to Corey Roelke and the Texas Hawking Association for having me down, and join us next week for the last episode recorded at the THA meet!

Chip Kohser, Seth Hall and Chris Powell make post election predictions, shed some optimism and talk about this once in a lifetime opportunity that we as hunters have to solidify our future as hunters. The only question that remains; are you willing to pay the price?
America has given Donald Trump a mandate through an historical election victory. One of the issues that helped him regain control of the White House was cutting bureaucracy and eliminating the deep state with its out of control spending of public funds. With the White House and both houses going to the same conservative party, Republican Voters are hoping for an easy path to restoration of American Freedom.
As hunters we are feeling a true jubilation for security and freedom for gun ownership and a reversal from pro animal rights extremism.
However, What does this really mean? Are we prepared to face a world with less government services. What about the care and service of our forest service roads, access to the wild spaces we love to hunt, or the management of wildlife?
