This charming and wonderful leading man joins them days before opening night of his new play to discuss whether the rumors are true: is the show a spy thriller? Is it the theatre’s answer to Babygirl? Wait and see, y’all… Abubakr describes how he got involved with the play, the creative process, and what it’s like being in an intimate two-hander like Dakar 2000. We also dive deep into his love for the musical Once, his years studying at NYU and Yale (and the years out in LA in between!), and how New York has become home. The TV credits are boundless, but of course Connor and Dylan need to know about the Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene, as well as The Walking Dead: World Beyond and Law & Order: Organized Crime (go off, spinoff king).
