Dear Sweet Listeners, just as quickly as it seems this season started it's already time to finish it up with the final installment of To All the Boys. The book jumps forward and it's now Lara Jean's senior year. Her and Peter are still together and even more lovey-dovey and while all on the surface is great, the reality that college is just a few months away is starting to set in. Lara Jean's mom always said not to go to college with a boyfriend, but does that still apply when you're dating Peter Kavinksy?

Dear Sweet Listener, the time has come for Laura and Meggie to once again sit down and live out their final thoughts and feelings as the sun sets on their fifth season. The Vampire Diaries went through 3 different writers, spanned decades in its publication and most notably inspired the hit CW show. Tune in as your hosts drink some wine, cicadas boom in the background, and unwind with the farewell to YA, We Read It's first venture into the vampire world. Plus, where we're going for our 6th season.

IT'S THE BIG FINALE! We left off in book 12 with so many questions and pieces that needed to be wrapped up and instead, we're taken in a completely different direction. And the only way to truly find out what's in store? Is to listen to Meggie and Laura dive deep into it and discuss the ins and outs of the last book in the series. Will Elena finally live happily ever after? Will everyone else? Get ready, because we sure weren't!

Okay book 12 out of 13 lets POP OFF. Laura and Meggie are dying to discuss the tea! What's the tea? Stefan is dead, Elena is mourning but still attracted to Damon. Meredith has been forced into becoming a vampire but is keeping it secret. Bonnie is dealing with Zander being sus AF. And there's a whole new vampire on the loose while the gang is still trying to defeat Jack and all the fake synthetic vampires.

The final trilogy in the Vampire Diaries series is ON! Meggie & Laura are loving the new writer's sweet hashtags that line the chapters so they can stay in touch with other readers on Twitter circa 2013 (we love the world wide web!). We're picking up 4 years after the last book ended and all has been relatively peaceful since we said RIP to vampire daddy Klaus. Everyone's in relationships and enjoying young adulthood, until OG vampire Solomon (who is an absolute icon) comes into the picture to spook our hot group of friends with all of the tricks up his sleeve.

The Hunters trilogy is coming to a lukewarm close as unfortunately the quest to obliterate Klaus is overshadowed by Elena's Guardian transformation. Her quest to complete her destiny? To kill Damon Salvatore (uh-oh). And Stefen doesn't really seem to care that much (double uh-oh). And Klaus, instead of going on a murdering spree, decides to spend most of the book looking for Elena's deep dark secret (eh.) Who better to be your guides through the ups and downs (and questions) of book 10? Of course, Laura and Meggie are on the freaking case.

It's the last installment of the Hunter's trilogy: Destiny Rising! Meggie and Laura are in the final 4 books for the Vampire Diaries series and Klaus, the ultimate villain, has been resurrected! That's right, just when we thought the Vitale were getting stopped in their tracks, a much bigger/scarier foe has ARISEN and the only thing that can make this worse? He's building an army! Can our ragtag group of hot teens stop him once again? Will Elena's Guardian powers subplot ever become interesting? There's only one way to find out! (by listening to this podcast).
