I love this weekend because it's the Master's Golf Tournament. Pam and I were both avid golfers and always looked forward to this special weekend. At the same time it was also my grandparents, Mom and Pop Morris's favorite weekend. You could say our family loved golf but we also saw a connection between Augusta National and heave.

I'm convinced there are no chance meetings in life but I truly believe God arranges for us sometimes to run into to certainly people. For me I've had several "arranged" meetings the past year or so. One such meeting occured this evenning in the parking lot near where I live. It made for a nice encounter.

There are days my job sucks and miss being the TV weather guy. Of course I miss my lovely wife Pam every hour of every day. However, I learned on this day there are many things I am thankful for. And when we carefully look past our loss to see what we have, it can a great time to reflect on our blessings.

I've come to realize I have a lot in common with entertainners like John Travolta, Liam Neeson, Martin Short and Celine Dione. 

Today was a day filled with surprises. I had a great extended conversation with a Hollywood actress, a Fedex driver and a woman in town to receive special medical treatment for her daughter. It was truly a day to remember.

Holidays can sometimes be tough for those that have experienced the loss of a loved one. However, I find with a little planning they can actually still be special. This Easter I made a trip for the weekend seeing our kids in the mountains of North Carolina while later stopping to see some friends where I met a sweet couple that just moved here from China. Indeed, it was an Easter to remember and I hope you enjoy the program.

Easter is one of my favorite holidays because it holds the promise of an afterlife in heaven which means someday I will see my sweet Pam as well as other relatives that have gone before me.

Often times when we experience loss it can damage our self esteem and we may start to feel like a bit of a loser. We start to imagine that's how the outside world sees us too. However, I conducted a little experiment and found that not to be the case. Granted, my sample size was small but the results were uplifting.

After another week of business travel I find myself in airports thinking of my beautiful bride and how when I traveled before I could hardly wait to get home to see Pam. Now it seems I don't really have a home and could sometimes careless if my flights are delayed or cancelled. In today's episode I'm heading back from Texas and begin to explore what home really means.

It is so strange how grief can strike with feelings of deep sadness when we least expect them. I had the idea of revisting some of the places we lived while on a business trip in west Texas. However, I was not ready for the wide range of emotions I experienced as I visited our past.
