I recently stumbled across a new show on Apple TV called the Ted Lasso Show. To say this show was a pleasant surprise would be an understatment. Even more surprising is how the shows main character Ted Lasso really impacted me and possibly others that have experienced loss and we manage to keep moving forard.

The news is filled with negative news these days and at times it can be overwhelming. However, "IF" media outlets wanted to there is a way to always put a positive spin on bad news. In today's podcast I give a couple of examples along with some advice from late wife on how to live life in the future.

We've all been there. You run into someone that has just learned about the loss of your husband or wife and they want to say something but after they speak you wish they had sad nothing. In this episode I talk about one of "those" comments which I'm sure many of you can relate to.

We all have those days when it seems like there is nothing but bad news. In my case I had a exceptionally bad day thru a series of events that included the loss of my childhood hero and a work partner all in the same day. However, in the end I found a way to survive and in this espisode I share with you how to keep moving forward even on those really dark and difficult days.

Probably the funniest thing that's happened to me during this pandemic! You have to hear the story to believe it. It involves a mountain lake trail, a woman and her husband or boyfriend and freaking out on the trail while giving me a nice afternoon view.

I love Tom Hanks in just about everything he has done. However, after losing my wife Pam in 2019 I find myself coming back to his movie Castaway. If you are familiar with the movie it's a deeply moving story about his loss and how difficult it was to keep moving forward. In my podcast today we'll talk about it is so very important we do keep moving...not necessarily "moving on" but "moving forward".
