  • Yellow Brit Road, 23 May 2021: The Bablers Album Listen Party!

Attention, listeners of the Yellow Brit Road, it's album listening party time!

We're listening to Finnish power pop band the Bablers, the Grammy acclaimed pop rock band who are back from a nearly 20-year long hiatus to deliver us one of the best new albums we've heard: Psychadilly Circus!

The album is a submission so we're listening to it early, it releases later this week on 29 May and can still be preordered via Big Stir Records.

Bigger news: singer Arto Tamminen and drummer Janne Haavisto from the band dropped by for a chat with me, and it was so lovely, I couldn't cut any of it.

So instead, you can listen to the interview and the album again, during a 2-hour time slot this Thursday, 27 May from 9 to 11 PM EST on CFRC, so do tune in! (the podcast of that broadcast will follow soon)

As always, listen live on your dial at 101.9 FM in the Kingston area, or on cfrc.ca, Sundays 8 to 9 PM! (Full shows are available in the archive for 3 months from release)
