A: Let's eat out, shall we?
B: I'm broke. I've gone through my paycheck for the week already.
A: Don't worry about it. It's my treat.
B: You're sure? You're so generous!
A: And nice, too.
B: So, where are you taking me?
A: Some place you've never been before.
go through sth: to use up money or a supply of something 用光,耗尽
We went through five pints of milk last week. 我们上周喝光了5品脱的牛奶。
I seem to be going through a lot of money at the moment. 目前我花钱似乎很多。
paycheck n. the amount of money that you earn in your job 薪水,工资
I'd like a job with a nice big paycheck! 我想要一份薪水丰厚的工作。
(it’s) my treat: used to tell someone that you will pay for something such as a meal for them 我请客

Day 83 I can't stand him anymore!
A: What's going on between you and Gary? You look so pissed off. Did you guys have a fight or something?
B: I can't stand him anymore! He has such a short fuse that even a little piece of friendly advice sets him off.
go on: to happen 发生

pissed off adj. annoyed 生气的
