Welcome to today's episode! Grab your favorite beverage, a comfy seat, and listen in to our thoughts about the power of Yin yoga. This style of yoga is often overlooked as a great tool to help us go further inward to energize our intuition and a deep trust for ourselves. Yin yoga goes hand in hand with today's affirmation: to find stillness and mental power. When holding a posture in this form of yoga, you will need to put your focus forward in finding your personal edge. Think of this as though you are settling into comfort and some joy, but also inviting the resistance and tension of the pose. Always back off where you need to and add props to support proper alignment. Choose a safe space and give this yoga style a try! It can really help you to not only release tight muscles, but let go of stored emotions within the body. Be comforted in knowing this is part of the process however that may look like for you. With practice, you may gain new knowledge from your subconsciousness, change your perspective, and even break out of old patterns that no longer serve you. You may find the courage to set new boundaries, let go of emotional attachments, and just generally get to know your soul better.
