Nat Roe (@filmpixie) is a film writer, director and producer, with a background in theatre.

Having worked on big site-specific theatre productions, such as Blood and Chocolate, the Minster Mystery Plays, and for Theatre Mill, she took that experience and started her own company ‘Plotting Films’, creating a medieval comedy series called Tales Of Bacon (@pardonmybacon)

We discuss her research and writing process, running a successful crowdfunding campaign, coming up with practical and creative solutions for props, and the wider filmmaking scene in York.
