Dr. Mélissa Roy is a plastic and reconstructive surgery resident at the University of Toronto who recently completed a Master’s in clinical epidemiology. Dr. Roy has been working with Dr. Cross at St. Michael's Hospital to promote plastic surgeons' awareness of the importance of identifying malnutrition, and strategies for addressing it in order to obtain optimal surgical outcomes.
