I think this book is good. I really enjoyed the unicorns and my favorite unicorn is Sparkle because she is kind and so cool. The mermaids are really mean though.

Another great book from Diana Wynne Jones

Loved this from beginning to end. The narrator does a fine job of differentiating between the characters, without feeling obliged to do the drama school audition thing. I am eagerly anticipating the other two books in the quartet, and I hope that this narrator will be doing at least one of them. I also really like the fact the book is unabridged!

Nine-year-old grandson read at least two times in one week

I Ordered these for my grandson for Christmas - he is nine years old and an avid reader. He read this in one day and has since read it, and the other three in this series at least one more time since then. He can't wait to get the next books.
