Five Stars

A good book. Very good.

Good

This really shows how really nice people will go out of their way to make sure a kid is safe. It also shows that some people are more interested in their own lives over a 8 year old. Also shows the problems with all the records were lost during Katrina. There are a few love scenes that I did skip over.

The story tells two different stories lines till they meet up together. It does make you care about the characters. I wanted Courtney to find the missing child.

Courtney is a social worker. A case she has not had for long has come up that they don't think the child Courtney knows is the same one who came into the system over 8 years ago. The child was separated from her foster family at the time of Katrina and was sent to a different state for a few years till the family could get back into their house and out of a FENMA Trailer. They don't know where the switch was made. So two different girls were called Araceli.

Marc DiLeo is staying at his mother's house after a accident that makes it hard for him to climb stairs. He is still taking pain killers and going to physical therapy. He is finding himself not caring about anything.

Courtney goes early to family dinner to ask Marc for help about how she can try and find the child. Marc tells her to figure out when the switch was made but if it was right after she got in the system with Katrina happening she might have been lost for over 8 years and it did not look good.

Marc finds people who skip out on their bail. His family gets involved and tells him he should help her find the girl if possible. Even his brother the doctor. Marc decides to get out of the house and tells Courtney to come on. He needs a office and his regular pay plus he needs to be driven where ever he needs to go.

Courtney is off work while the FBI investigate the case to make sure she was not covering up anything and because the girl Araceli traveled across state lines. So Courtney agrees and shows Marc the guest house behind her house. It is small but all on the same floor unlike his mom's place. So he tells her that he will stay their to go get his computer and clothes for him while he reads the case files.

They go into a few different states trying to track down when and where Araceli disappeared. It does not help that the other Araceli took off when they started to ask questions.

Determined to tear down the wall shielding her fragile heart, Alex sets out to claim Maggies affections. But will he let go of a career he's trained his whole life for to be with the woman he loves?

Critic Reviews:

"Every once in a while an author arrives with the rare talent to combine reality with romance. This is Janis Reams Hudson." (RT Book Reviews)

Members Reviews:

Great Author, Good Book.

This was the third in a series and as usual it is a good book. Janis Reams Hudson writes great and has as always paired up a good couple. I really have enjoyed reading her books over the years and this one was no exception. Great characters and as usual a good ending, which is why I read romance. This is an older book, I have not seen a new book from her since one in 2008. I know that she was really ill but have not been able to find out her current state of health. If anyone knows, I would appreciate finding out.

The bullrider and the red-head, great combo!

A little slow to start, but then it gets going smoothly. Great

characters. Good back-n-forth dialogue.

From the cover: The minute he walked into the cafe, Maggie knew he was a cowboy. From the white hat to the big silver trophy buckle to the pair of scuffed ropers, this raven-haired man was the real thing---a bull rider. Maggie considered herself an expert on the subject, since she'd lost her husband, the love of her life, to a rampaging bull six years ago. When Alex Dillon caught sight of Maggie, a green-eyed waitress, he thought there might be some advantages to being stuck in Deep Fork, Oklahoma.

Friends warned him to steer clear of maggie, a woman who believed in home, hearth, and marriage. She would never let herself get tangled up with another bull rider. But Alex couldn't stop thinking about her, a dream of a woman with fiery hair

and deep green eyes. She made him feel heady, hot...alive. Somehow, Alex Dillion was going to prove that he was the one and only man for Maggie...(and now for a typer's cramp.)

Members Reviews:

Pretty good.

The story line to this book wasn't bad. It started strong and ended strong, but I kind of feel like the middle was a jumbled mess. I found alot of times I wasn't sure if I was in the present or past. Maybe that was just me, but it was hard for me to read. I would recommend the book though, because it was a good romance.

Can't get enough!

Once again Ryleigh Rhodes manages to keep me interested! Absolutely looking forward to many more. Love the cover, landscape is bright and intriguing. Nicely done.

I loved this book!

I've read Ryleigh's first book, Enforcer and I really liked the story and writing. So, when I heard she had another book out, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I really liked this story. Cecile is a strong woman. She has endured so much in her life, from a nasty self-absorbed mother to the loss of people she thought of as her parents. She didn't let it stop her though. She went to collage and learned how to become a fabulous chef/baker. She came back home to Montana to open her own bakery. And, she reunites with the boy who stole her heart.

This book contains romance, family bonds that don't necessarily come from blood relatives and how to let go and be loved. Yay Ryleigh!

Love Logan and CiCi

What a cute love story! I need a Logan for sure and I love how strong and dependent CiCi is. I rooted for them from the start and I think they're perfect for each other. I'm looking forward to Annie and Randy's story next

Such a good love story

Such a good love story!! I always love a sassy girl character and Cecile fits the role! Also love reading about hot men and Logan is hot! I am always a sucker for a love story and those are my favorite reads! This book doesn't dissapoint!!

Members Reviews:

Will the Present learn of the Past in this beautiful love story

Wow, a what a great story,

Amanda Kay does an excellent job weaving a love story from the past in with a present love story. Kylie is engaged to Derek but is having reservations,

he is away on a mission overseas and she receives a letter in the mail with a key to a house that he brought before he left much to her surprise.

While exploring the house she finds the initials K & D and Heart carved in wood near a swing. She wonders what this means and then finds letters

written by people who use to live in the house at one time Kaylie and David. Kylie is draw to their love story as it mirrors her's and Derek's - Will she follow Kaylie's road and leave or will true love win out in the end.

I will definitely be reading more from this author - I already have more of her books and can't wait to get started on them

The title is great description of this book :)

Amazing story. Sometimes when you're in a difficult position, you feel like you are the only person who has ever felt that way. What do you do when you find out someone has been in exactly the same place you are in now? Do you repeat the mistakes of the past, or learn from them?

This story is short and sweet. It is well written, smooth flowing and easy to read. The imagery is great. The characters, their emotions and the experiences they go through are depicted extremely well. I love the characters in this book.

I look forward to more by this author.

Review for I Dream of Books

Such a sweet story

A sweet short story on true love and what is really important. The story of 2 couples about to get married in different eras, but only 1 doing what the other could not. Very sweet.

So sweet!

I love how this story collides both love lives of two couples facing the same problems. Kylie and Derek have been together and plan on getting married soon. Just like the couple that lived there before, Kaylie and David. Kylie is having doubts and she doesn't know what to do. Derek is deployed and he doesn't know how to get her to understand how much he loves her. This is such a sweet book. I loved it.

Great potential but too many writing issues to ignore at the moment

This story had potential but there were too many issues in spelling, grammar, and writing for me to ignore. The formatting as well. Plus times were off historically, things that were said to be in the past, actually historically hadn't occurred yet, and vice versa. The story itself had great potential and I think it could be great if the technical aspects are fixed.
