Singing since he was a child, Mark Preston took every opportunity he could to sing for those who would listen and those who believed in his talent. Starting at the age of 11, Mark carried his singing through school and then decided to enlist.  Joining the Air Force was Mark's first stop on his way to being a top performer.  His talent earned him accolades when he was selected as the Air Force's finest vocalist of 1975, and then toured with Tops in Blue.   This elite group is made up of the Air Force's top 20, most versatile entertainers.   During his time in the Air Force, Mark was awarded the American Spirit Honor Medal as well as the Air Force Commendation Medal.

   Mark went to open for Phyllis Diller for over 10 years and was part of world known Lettermen. He continues to be a headline for the finest cruise ships sailing. This podcast lays out Mark’s rise to his professional career for over 55 years.

Jennifer and Tom were both physically and sexually abused as children. This is the first time they have talked about it on a public forum. They kept it a secret for over 48 years. The reason? They want parents to be aware of the warning signs their kids are showing. They both explain what they went through and how they continue to deal with it and work through it.

Tom actually went on to sue his abuser and won.

Danny is a lifetime PGA Tour member and the creator of The Chipping Equation. As a pro, Danny won 20 tournaments worldwide including 5 PGA Tour championships. He was recently selected as one of the Top 100 Professional Golfers of The Modern Era.

He had a dual career in two professions that are about as far apart as they could be and he loved them both. Racing was a very exhilarating, physically challenging endeavor where golf was slow and precise. It was a very interesting marriage of careers.”

If you’re going to drive a race car, you’ve got to be on prime alert and have tremendous coordination. Danny was intense about racing, and he knew cars and machines and was really talented at it. Edwards had met Roger Penske and become a part of his team. He won two Midwest Division National Championships, in the highly competitive Formula Ford class, in 1984 and ’85. He drove a Mustang LX for Kaufmann Racing in the World Challenge Series – formerly the Escort Endurance series – and a Sports 2,000 Swift for the Pfeiffer-Ridge team of Sonoma in the American City Racing League.

In the summer of 1988, after 14 years on the PGA Tour, and never losing exempt status, Edwards stepped away from competitive golf and founded Royal Grip Inc., in Scottsdale, Arizona. The company would become its own revolution in advancing and improving perhaps the most essential piece of golf equipment. Then Danny turned his attention to the business world. In 1998, Edwards became CEO of GreenFix Golf, a company that manufactures a tool that enables players and maintenance crews to repair ball marks to golf greens. In 2019, he founded The Chipping Equation, a revolutionary yet simple system that is geared to helping golfers of all abilities learn and perfect one forgotten yet key segment of the game.

His alma mater awarded him with an honorary doctorate at the 2018 College of Arts and Sciences commencement ceremony which he gave the address to the graduating class at Swinney Recreation Center on campus.
