Ralph Pierre LaCock (born March 30, 1926), better known by his stage name Peter Marshall, is an American former game show host, television and radio personality, singer, and actor. He was the original host of The Hollywood Squares from 1966 to 1981 and has almost fifty television, movie, and Broadway credits.

Peter Marshall hosted a popular mid-day radio show for more than 15 years on the Music of Your Life radio network.

In London's 1962 West End production, Marshall appeared in the stage musical Bye Bye Birdie, staring the lead character of Albert Peterson. The production ran for 268 performances.

Peter also won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show Host four times. In 2006 he received the annual Bill Cullen Award for Lifetime Achievement, from the non-profit organization, Game Show Congress. On October 13, 2007, Marshall was one of the first inductees into the American TV Game Show Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.

The 50-plus John Absey won the 2017-18 Mascot of the Year award as Jazz Bear, marking the fifth time he garnered the honor in his career. Inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame in 2006, Absey worked more than 800 home games as Jazz Bear.

John grew up a farm boy and picked up that first mascot job at Morehouse State College for $25. One thing led to another, and he was asked to try out to be the Utah Jazz mascot in the early 1990s. John then worked more than 800 home games as the Jazz Bear. He didn't try to be anyone else or act like someone else in the suit and that he succeeded.

At being 50 plus he can still do the splits.

Pete talks about what it was like growing up with celebrities in and out of the house and how great they were to him. Pete also talks about the time he, his wife and friends got mugged and had his life as well as his pregnant wife threated at gun point. The mugger held the gun to Pete’s wife’s pregnant stomach and said if all of them didn’t give up their valuables he would blow the baby all over the place.
