Jack Poessiger immigrated to the United States after having escaped with his father from Leipzig in the former East Germany.

Jack worked his way up in the motion picture industry first as a theater manager and later as Director of Marketing, Publicity and Public Relations for the Commonwealth Theaters, Inc. circuit.

He also spend several years in television where he worked as Promotion and Production Manager at KAYS-TV, part of the Kansas Broadcasting System.

Jack served two terms as President of the United Motion Picture Association during which he oversaw its annual Show-A-Rama convention in Kansas City.

He hosted radio station KY-102's weekly movie magazine called 'Jack Goes To The Movies' for 20 years as well as another 10 years on 99.7KY.

Jack also covered the movie scene for KMBZ, 61 COUNTRY, KXTR, TIME WARNER CABLE, TCI and TELECABLE.

YJHTL went to the Barber shop. The place where you get hot towel razor-cut shaves and current, original hair styles. I had no idea who would be there and only had met the barbers who worked there, briefly. Everybody, including the clients played along and we had a great time. Jeff Trachta is an American actor and singer, best known for portraying Thorne Forrester on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 1989 to 1996. He appeared in the twelfth season of America’s Got Talent as “The Singing Trump”, impersonating President Donald Trump.

Jeff’s one man show on cruise ships is phenomenal. His numerous impressions are ‘spot on’ and hysterical. His music videos of himself portraying many musical acts are amazing. All of his talents are impressive, but it’s when Jeff when talks about his family and growing up, that makes you fall in love with him. I am blessed we are friends, and he did this podcast, because he doesn’t do podcasts. He wanted to do this because we are friends and have so much mutual respect for each other’s talents. Yea, like 20 million dollars in sales. Elliott IS a great guy and a very successful entrepreneur that lives in a "big ass house." When he was 17, we snuck him in the comedy club so he could go on stage. He went to Los Angeles for 4 years only to return to be in charge of his future, not letting Hollywood decide that. Today at 59 he uses the skills of being a comedian to his benefit of being a very successful business man.

Harlan began broadcasting as a teenager for his alma mater Our Lady of Premontre High School's high school radio station, WGBP-FM, calling play-by-play for the school's boys' basketball, football and ice hockey teams. He was a ball boy with the Green Bay Packers in his teens during the time that his father, Bob Harlan, was a Packers executive in the front office. He had originally pursued attending either the University of Wisconsin–Madison or the University of Notre Dame in pursuit of his communications/mass media degree, but a personal recommendation from broadcaster Gary Bender to his dad Bob led Kevin to instead attend the University of Kansas and its School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Harlan was introduced to the Jayhawks' primary basketball play-by-play announcer at the time, Tom Hedrick, who audited Harlan's zeal for sports broadcasting and immediately considered him a protege in the making. Hedrick gave Harlan a sideline position, his freshman year, eventually deeming him as his understudy and fill-in announcer on days where he had other commitments. Harlan graduated in 1982 with a broadcast journalism degree.

In 2017, Harlan was voted by his peers as National Sportscaster of the Year by the NSMA. He again was voted National Sportscaster of the Year by the NSMA in 2019. He was also named 2019 National Sportscaster of the Year by The Athletic. In September 2019 Harlan was inducted into the Notre Dame Academy High School Hall of Fame (the former Premontre HS he attended in Green Bay, Wisconsin).

1. Started off fixing stereo equipment in his basement to now running a 20-million-dollar business providing security systems in every Starbucks in North America and that’s only just one account.

2. You can’t walk through any mall in North America where his company, Short Circuit, hasn’t put put in security systems in 90% of the stores.

3. Inducted in the Kansas Broadcast Hall of Fame class of 2021.

4. Has produced the Kansas Chiefs Broadcast for over 32 years

5. Pre-game host for the Kansas Chiefs Broadcast.

6. Revolutionized how to produce and engineer NFL radio game broadcasts in digital stereo that changed all of the NFL radio broadcasts.

7. Songwriter and video editor for major motion pictures and television shows

8. Can wire and design a recording studio then go in and record his own original scores.

9. Sound engineered for many recording artists.

Danny brings you right into the booth for the Kansas City Chiefs Superbowl win and the challenge of interviewing coaches and players after a loss. His expertise his immense, his ability to solve electronic problems is more than impressive, but it’s the care and soul of Dan Israel that makes you never forget to LIVE and do what you LOVE as he is presently battling stage 4 cancer.

     As Vice President of Marketing for the Chicago Cubs, Lauren and her team oversee all fan engagement touch points for the Cubs, Wrigley Field & the Wrigley Rooftops inclusive of CRM, brand identity, activations/events, multi-platform advertising, promotions, game-day entertainment, social media, broadcast relations, and Cubs Productions. 

     Previously, Lauren was Global Director of Consumer Engagement for Gatorade. In this role she drove creative and media go-to-market strategies as a model for markets globally. Her team also had accountability for brand-owned experiential activations, influencer marketing and sports culture driving platforms. Under her leadership, Gatorade creative assets, events and media partnerships were consistently awarded top industry honors. In other roles with Gatorade, Lauren was accountable for international sports marketing partnerships in the sport of global football, and she also served as the brand’s first head of branded content. Prior to joining Gatorade, Lauren spent time in public affairs working with sports team owners, worked within the Kansas City Chiefs media relations department, and spent time in the Sprint corporate partnership group working on NASCAR.

I asked Reverend Bob Hill and Rabbi Michael Zedek to do this podcast as a way to bring people together to understand the fundamental philosophies of Christianity and Judaism with their many similarities. In this part two, they discuss that Judaism is the foundation of Christianity and the differences and similarities of their respect beliefs. We also discuss the importance of God in our lives and how we make that connection. I also asked them to share their thoughts on the differences between faith, religion, spirituality and hope.
