The mantra for that stage of life, that interim stage, is "Keep on keeping on." Can everyone repeat that? "Keep on." I was leaving Hawaii one day, late for a flight, and a brahmacari ran out to the window of the car and said, "Give me some instruction." I said, "Keep on keeping on," because we were in a hurry—that's all I could tell him. And then we came back a few years later, he said, "Do you remember me?" and I said, "No." He said, "You told me something that saved my life." I said, "What did I tell you?" He said, "Keep on keeping on." That's what I've been doing.

So we have to keep on keeping on in the practice. Rūpa Goswami said, "It's like medicine—you won't take it, it won't taste sweet at first. So do it as duty, do it as taking medicine, and then you'll gradually come to the point where you'll feel that, 'Oh, this is where all the nectar is; I don't want to be anywhere else.'"

Throughout the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, we find examples of people who are completely liberated. What does that look like, and what are their symptoms? Well, there are various symptoms, but looking at the personalities is nice because we can see the unusual qualities of people who are liberated. That's what we get in the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam—an exposition of these. So, these are some of my heroes from the Bhāgavatam, if I may. The first one is...
