You Matter!

Monroe France, Associate Vice President of Global Student Engagement discusses his role at NYU and how his areas of responsibility are focused on producing intentional and sustained educational initiatives and Inclusive Leadership. Chris Woods, Director of the NYU LGBTQ+ Center, discusses the ways in which the LGBTQ+ Center serves the NYU community.

Sean Hackett, Manager, Open Source Analysis, Global Security Operations Center, and William Karnadi, Manager, Emergency Management, both members of NYU's Department of Public Safety share the value of the Safe NYU mobile campus safety app. William was immersed in the development of the app for the New York City user and Sean was responsible for the global development.

Kate Baier, Executive Director in the Office of Residential Life and Student Housing at NYU, is responsible for the overall administration and operation of NYU's 22 residence halls and two graduate living communities, home to approximately 12,000 undergraduate and graduate students during the academic year and summer session. Kate discusses how the Office of Residential Life and Student Housing serves NYU students as well as the services that are provided, paying close attention to incoming first-year students who might be away from home for the first time.
