Tawana's life was not easy as she shares how she was an adopted child left by a mother who was a drug addict.  Tawana's new book called Daughter, is inspired by her story of her past and difficult upbringing.  She brings the raw truths she had to face to become the overcomer she is today.  

She has now co founded an organization called Culture New Norm, where hundreds of millennials are impacted through Christ centered events.  

We discuss facing trauma and finding Jesus in the middle of it all.  Tawana is passionate about her relationship with Jesus and wants you to know that YOU were created to belong no matter what your past looks like.
