  • The Spirit of Adoption
Adoption is something we're probably all at least a little familiar with.  But, did you know adoption is talked about in the Bible?  Moses was adopted by Pharaoh's daughter, which eventually put him in a position to free the enslaved Egyptians.  Have you ever thought about yourself , as a child of God, being adopted and, therefore, positioned to do something unique and wonderful for God, your Heavenly Father?  Listen this week as Dr Pauline and Catherine talk about adoption from a Biblical perspective.

  • Stress vs Anxiety
Do you ever feel stressed?  That's a pretty ridiculous question nowadays, right?  Of course you're stressed.  Stressed about work, stressed about bills, stressed about whether you'll have enough (fill in the blank).  So, what's the difference between stress and anxiety?  God said, "Don't be anxious for anything."  Stress, believe it or not, can actually be a good thing.  Listen this week as Dr Pauline and Catherine talk about the differences between stress and anxiety and what God's Word has to say about it.

  • Should Divorce Be As Easy As ".com"?
Ok...just when you think you've heard it all, there's a website out there that says they'll help you have a "successful divorce" if you use their service.  Complete with legally trained "divorce architects", they say they'll save your time, your money, and your relationships.  They proclaim to be "pro-family", and say their costs for divorce range from $5,000-9,000 (instead of the average $27,000 price tag of divorce).  Divorce is a $30 billion industry in the US, and this company is riding the coattails of that industry into a thriving business.  So...how does this apply to a Dunamas Life?  Join Dr Pauline and Catherine this week for a show that may change the way you think about divorce.

  • Praise and Worship - Are You Just Going Through the Motions?
This week, Dr Pauline and Catherine are talking about a subject that is talked about a lot.  Praise and worship.  But how does it relate to the Dunamas life?  The Psalms talk a lot about praising God, and in Psalm 148 in particular it talks about the rocks and trees crying out in worship, so how much more does God want his children (us) to praise Him?  Can you praise God even if you don't "feel" like worshipping?  Can you still be sincere when your heart isn't "in it"?  Listen Monday, October 19 at 4:30pm (MST) as Dr Pauline & Catherine talk about this important topic.

  • Elizabeth Petrucelli - Still Birth Day Part 2
This week, Dr Pauline & Catherine continue their conversation with Elizabeth Petrucelli (www.dragonfliesforruby.com) about Still Birth Day.  Did you know that miscarriage is, in fact, birth?  There are a lot of misconceptions out there about the subject of miscarraige and still birth.  Elizabeth talks on today's show about parenting, forgiveness, bonding with your baby, and how the church can help families experiencing the loss of a miscarriage in a more meaningful way.

  • Midwifery: Life's Work or Living Wage?
Midwives have been around for thousands of years coming alongside women during their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum time.  The women in the community would be there for the mom to help her and take care of her.  They would even have help for the dad.  Everyone was focused on one thing:  caring for the family.  Today, the focus (in general) has shifted.  Maybe the shift happened when all the certifying agencies told us that you're not really ready to be a midwife until you're certified through this organization or that degree program.  Or maybe it shifted when midwifery became a profession.
What if God is calling YOU back to the original purpose of being a midwife instead of being so focused on earning a "living wage"?  Listen this week as Dr Pauline and Catherine discuss the Biblical foundations of midwifery during National Midwives Week.

  • Self Improvement: Break it Down
There are thousands of self help/self improvement books, webinars, and conferences out there.  It's a concept that has become very profitable for a lot of people.  So, what does the Bible say about it?  Plenty!  God meets us right where we are.  That's one of the amazing things about the Gospel of Jesus.  While Jesus meets us where we are, he doesn't want us to stay there.  Jesus wants us to grow, to change, to improve...in fact, the Bible has a lot to say about it.  Paul says in Philippians 3 that, "Not that I have already attained or am already perfected;  but I press on...I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."  Listen this week as Dr Pauline talk about the Biblical perspective on self-improvement.

  • The Correct Way to GossipP
As Christians, we know gossip is wrong.  But what if there was a way to gossip that actually glorifies God?  What if we were as intentional about spreading the word about the Gospel of Jesus as we (unfortunately) are about spreading the latest celebrity news or who stabbed who in the back at work?  What if we were as excited and almost giddy about telling people what God has done for them as we are about talking about someone we don't know and probably will never meet?  Let's stop taking part in toxic "prayer circle gossip" and start spreading the word about our amazing Creator.  Dr Pauline and Catherine invite you to listen to this important show with your small group and start gossiping about the only One worth gossiping about:  Jesus!P

  • Grandparents: Celebrated or Tolerated?
I was a kid, I used to go over to my grandparents house all the time. Every chance I get. As I got a little bit older, spending that time with them was even more valuable. Because I knew that they had been around the block a few more times that I had, they had some amazing wisdom  that I could draw from in my own life. How did we go from valuing our grandparents and her older generations to seeing them as a burden, and an inconvenience?   More importantly, how do we Jean that admiration and respect for the older generation listen this week as Dr. Pauline and Catherine discuss the principles found in God's Word in Titus 2  as well as other scripture.
