Ok...Halloween is a distant memory, Thanksgiving leftovers are long gone, and Christmas & New Year's Eve is a blur.  Onward to 2016!  Except...you have some weight still hanging on that doesn't want to go away.  Believe it or not, there are a few simple, practical things you can do to help you start 2016 in a healthy way. Getting back in shape doesn't have to be complicated.

In the Old Testament, the Spirit came upon people, and left throughout Scripture.  In the New Testament, the Holy Spirit is in us.  Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit because He was leaving this world and promised us a guide to help us.  Do we realize what that really means?  That is one of the most amazing gifts God has given those who believe in Him.  Listen this week as Dr Pauline and Catherine explore what the Bible has to say about the Holy Spirit.

Are you looking forward to Christmas?  Or is it a stressful thought to be with family?  Is it because your focus is on the wrong thing?  What if it was less about the STUF of Christmas (gifts, food, etc) and more about spending quality time with the people you love?  It doesn't have to be about the stuff.  Slow down, develop some traditions, and be present for the people you love.

With Christmas just around the corner, this can be a very stressful, and sometimes very painful time of year for a lot of people.  Are you stressed?  Are you full of joy?  Are you hurting?  If you have kids living in the house, they're feeling whatever you're feeling.  If you're stressed, they can tell.  If you're relaxed and having fun, they can tell that, too.  This week, Dr Pauline and Catherine want to check in on your marriage.  How is your marriage?  Stressed?  Joyful?  On the rocks?  We care about your marriage and we would love to help - no matter where you are this Christmas.

This week,  Dr Paline and Catherine tackle the controversial topic of  legal drugs in the church.   It seems like we - as believers - have no problem believing that God can heal people physically, but healing emotional pain is somehow too difficult for God.  So we turn to prescription drugs to "handle" our emotional pain.   Is that really what God had in mind?   So, how are we - as believers - to handle emotional pain when it comes?
