Your Earth Chakra is located in your energy field a foot or more beneath your physical body.  It flows out from beneath the soles of your feet.  It exists in people with missing limbs or those with lack of sensations in those particular lower limbs.

Each chakra can tell you about specific physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of your being.  Let me share with you what I know to be true based upon my 25+ years of experience and work with energy and chakra healing.

When doing your own personal healing of the energy within the Earth Chakra, there are postures or items you can use to help direct and focus the energy work.

Some of my personal favorite healing stones or crystals for the Earth Chakra:  Obsidian and Hematite.

The yoga asana Warrior One is a wonderful way to run energy to the Earth Chakra.  The Prithvi Mudra is my choice for meditating while using a hand mudra to assist in energy transition and activation.

The Earth Chakra informs you of your connection to this life: Your will to live and your ability to remain grounded in your body. 

The Earth Chakra also informs you of your connectedness to life on the earth: Mother Earth, animals, plant life, the land & water.
