Spiritual Lesson: Go Within — Stop Outsourcing the Answers

This week's Spiritual Lesson is Go Within.

We live surrounded by answers.

Adverts promising the solution. Things that worked for someone else. Advice. Research. Social media. Quick fixes.

And sometimes all of that external noise stops us hearing what's actually happening within us.

In this episode, I explore what happens when we stop looking only at the symptom and begin looking underneath it.

I use the analogy of an iceberg: the thing we're trying to "fix" might only be the tiny part we can see above the water. Underneath can be grief, emotions, responsibilities, relationships, food, movement, open mental tabs, family needs and all the other calls on our energy.

I also share some of my own experience following the loss of my Dad, his funeral, my children's results and their upcoming transitions to college and university — and recognising how much I had been looking externally for answers whilst not really stopping to ask myself:

What do I need?

Because sometimes we're searching for the answer without fully understanding the question.

We explore emotional avoidance, external validation, inner wisdom, journalling, meditation, the Akashic Records and simply giving ourselves permission to stop and notice what's really there.

This isn't about forcing yourself to uncover trauma or process everything at once.

It's about going within safely and gently.

What are you holding?

What can be released?

What can somebody else do?

What isn't important right now?

And what do you need?

GRATITUDE | Small Moments, Joy & Emotional Expansion

This week's Spiritual Lesson is Gratitude.

Gratitude doesn't mean pretending the difficult things aren't happening. It isn't toxic positivity and it isn't about forcing yourself to feel happy.

It's about noticing the little patches of blue sky alongside everything else.
