This story may seem unbelievable, but every word is true.
Convergence recounts a brutal double homicide in 1970s Chicago and the trial that never happened. Unlike most true crime books, this is not a whodunit—the killer was caught immediately. It is not a police procedural, though Convergence follows the investigation closely. Nor is it a defense attorney’s tale.
Instead, this is a story from the other side of the courtroom.
Convergence tells the story of Gio Messina and Delphine Moore’s murders and the trial that followed, but from the unique perspective of the prosecution. You will witness how a case is painstakingly built, brought to court, and argued before a jury. You will see what happens when power and money threaten to stop the trial before it begins. Follow the prosecution from Chicago’s courtrooms to rural Tennessee, as they search for new evidence to replace what has mysteriously disappeared.

Since 2008, Harmony Home Medical has provided quality medical supplies to the San Diego community. Their mission is to help clients maximize their independence and quality of life by offering solutions that remove unnecessary challenges—because everyone deserves to live comfortably with the right medical equipment.
Founder Erica Sell recognized a gap in the industry: too often, decisions about medical equipment were made by insurance companies, not by the people who use the products. At the time, most Durable Medical Equipment (DME) dealers operated out of warehouses with little or no showroom space, making it difficult for customers to see or try products before purchasing.
Erica set out to change this by creating inviting showrooms where customers could explore, compare, and try out a wide selection of medical equipment and home access solutions—just like shopping for any other product. This vision led to the creation of Harmony Home Medical’s beautiful showrooms and their commitment to delivering next-level service and education to every client.
Whether you or your loved one needs support, Harmony Home Medical is here to help you live more comfortably and independently.

My guest tells the story of his grandfather Benzion Malik, a man whose resilience and faith helped him rebuild his life and community after the devastation of World War II. Guided by the principle of Tikkun Olam—Repairing the World—Benzion believed in justice and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
At 21, Benzion was drafted into the Romanian Army in 1939. Over the next six years, he was forced to serve in three different armies, enduring hard labor, and abuse for his Jewish identity. He survived constant danger and relied on the kindness of strangers.
After the war, Benzion walked 2,600 kilometers home, narrowly escaping death along the way. Despite returning to ruins, he was not defeated, choosing instead to help rebuild and inspire others for generations.

His mission is to help 100,000 families just like yours achieve financial clarity. As a husband, father, coach, and active community volunteer, he understands the freedom that comes from sound financial planning.
Over the past 15 years, he worked his way up from intern to CFP® Financial Advisor, eventually becoming a firm owner before the age of forty. He shares the financial education he was fortunate to receive through podcasts, his book "The Financial Pinwheel," and a variety of online resources.
Growing up in Northern New Jersey, he saw firsthand how many people commuted into New York City, working 80-hour weeks in pursuit of financial security—often at the expense of their well-being. He once expected to follow the same path, until a college professor introduced him to a guest speaker who called himself a Financial Planner. This encounter opened his eyes to a career dedicated to helping every day, middle-class families—people just like him.
During his internship, he offered to create a financial plan for his mother, a single parent who had returned to work to support their family. Witnessing the relief and confidence his plan gave her; she danced in his office—confirmed his calling. From that moment, he knew he wanted to help others experience the same sense of security and hope.

This true story of a Jewish mother and daughter is a powerful testament to courage, devotion, and the fragile thread of hope that sustained them through unimaginable hardship. Amidst cruelty and terror, they also encountered rare moments of humanity. Throughout their ordeal, both Bronia and Hajuta clung to memories of the River Kamienna—a place where they once danced, played music, and dreamed of the future. For them, the river was more than just a memory; it was a promise that they might one day return home.
Bronia Feldman never imagined she would become the backbone of an underground medical lifeline, especially within the brutal forced-labor system of the HASAG munitions factory in occupied Poland. Torn from her family in September 1942, she arrived at the factory shattered by grief. Yet, the only force strong enough to keep her alive was the hope of saving others.
My guess is honored to share her family’s story—a story that warns of the dangers of fascism, antisemitism, and genocide. Despite the inhumanity they endured, the most valuable lessons Bronia and Hajuta passed on to her brothers and me were to embrace life, cherish family, and stand firmly against prejudice and injustice, just as they did.

At the heart of this practice there is a simple belief: when a family is harmed by negligence, they deserve an advocate who will fight for them as if they were their own. What sets this attorney apart is a unique insider perspective gained from years working within the insurance industry—as both an adjuster and claims counsel. This firsthand experience revealed the strategies insurance companies use to minimize or deny legitimate claims, even those from their own policyholders.
Choosing to stand up for injured victims rather than defend these practices, this attorney now leverages that knowledge to hold insurance companies accountable. Frequently involved in high-stakes litigation—including catastrophic injury cases, wrongful death claims, and complex insurance disputes—this advocate has already recovered over $50 million for clients, despite being early in their legal career. Every case is approached personally, with the understanding that behind each claim is a family whose life has been upended and who deserves justice and financial security for the future.

In the heart of Nazi-occupied Paris, a Jewish family finds unexpected protection within their tight-knit, working-class community. It is 1937, on the eve of World War II, and young Bernard lives with his Polish-immigrant family in a lively Parisian courtyard. Though few other Jews reside there, the Parkiets feel a deep sense of belonging among the courtyard’s vibrant cast of characters. For Bernard, the courtyard is both sanctuary and playground—a magical world where he watches his father varnish furniture, gets into mischief with irritable neighbors, and shares pain au chocolat with his best friend, Titi.
But when the German occupation descends on Paris, Bernard’s world is upended. In July 1942, just hours before the Nazis arrive to arrest the Parkiet family, their neighbors unite in a courageous act of solidarity, hiding them in a vacant warehouse. The courtyard, once a place of laughter and routine, transforms into a refuge shadowed by fear. At only nine years old, Bernard shoulders the dangerous responsibility of venturing out each day to find food for his family. Even with the unwavering support of their neighbors, peril lurks everywhere including in the very courtyard that once felt so safe.
