My journey with my relationship with swimsuits has been a rollercoaster since I was a kid. As someone whose body has been through big changes over the years with weight loss and weight gain, my views have changed on how I feel in swimwear drastically.

I had a big realization this year. I didn’t understand why I was comfortable being photographed completely naked, that I was comfortable going to a sex club completely naked, and was comfortable going to a clothing optional beach and being naked… BUT why did I feel like I needed to cover myself up on other beaches? Why was I wearing these one piece swimsuits to cover myself up in more public spaces? Why can I stare at myself in the mirror in the morning naked and absolutely love my body but feel I had to hide myself in a full coverage suit.
