Welcome to what we will call our new years kick off show for 2020!  We want to kick off this show by saying Happy Birthday to Blog Talk Mom and congratulations on the new album! She turned 80 on the 3rd! Tonight we are going into what all christian faiths claim is the birth of the new testiment church.  We have shared before, that it is key to understand how to rightly divide the word of truth in your bible.  We have the old testiment which is creation, fall of man, and the dispensation of law. We then have the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are referred to as the four gospels, but Wild Bill likes to identify them as the life and times of Jesus.  These scriptures are still under the old testiment law and there is no plan of salvation here.  Then we go into the book of Acts which is the inactment of the new testiment church. You read about the first day of this birth of the church that took place on the day of pentecost.  Then later in this book you read of examples of others being born into this new testiment plan of salvation to include Paul. Then you have the letters that are being sent to churches that have been established in this new covanent experiance and the problems that were creeeping into the church. Then you have the book of Revelation which is a book of end time prophecy. From the old testiment to the new you see a pattern that was displayed and fullfilled in scripture under the plan of salvation that fully remitted sin.  It is amazing to Wild Bill that people will try to get the new plan of salvation from all other books of the bible except the book of Acts.  Even though they say this is the birth of the new testiment church! People for generations have fallen into this trap of breaking the pattern for false doctrine. Instead of a new years resolution.  Why not make a spiritual resolution to obey what Peter said on the day of pentecost of what needs to take place for salvation.

Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place".  There will not be a show next week due to the holidays. It may seem that the song we played to start the show did not fit into the thinking of the  birth of Jesus that fits the season. In truth the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, are all telling us of Jesus. This is not about the establishment of the new testiment church and plan of salvation.  As always you need to have a pencil and something to write on as this teacher is going to paint a picture for you in a way that you may have never heard before. With that being said.  We do not agree with everything this teacher has to say but for sure he will cause you to go back into your bible and study.  For us this teaching has fine tuned our understanding of scripture.  Tonight the main focus is going to be on the resurection of Jesus.  We know that Jesus was born as a baby just like all of of us.  But his purpose was to fullfill the law of the price of sin while being our example on how to live.  When the bible speaks of Jesus fullfilling the law it was not talking about the 10 commandments or any of the other laws of that time that came from men of God trying to keep the people faithful.  The law of the price of death to all because of the curse of sin was the law where Jesus paid our debt.  Death of animals as sacrifice put off sin from one year to the next. We only paid the interest and the balance of death for sin was still due.  Jesus took away the sin of the world fullfilling GOD's law that was broken in the garden.  The other laws and commandments of GOD is no longer applied through condemnation but of love with convictions, and concecration of love returned to GOD!  These other laws are the love language of GOD for us to obey him. The pattern of the birth of the new testiment church is laid out in the book of Acts. We would love to hear your comments.

The teacher is also not trying to prove or disproved any denomination.  We encourage all of you to take notes but you can go to the archives and listen again or download for free to any smart device. With all of that being said we find things that we have never heard before that has added to our understanding, and we have also heard things that we do not agree with 100%.  As always we open up the microphones at the end of each show for comments or questions.

Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place". First, we want to announce this week that there will be no show this next week.  Many people are going to be busy with Thanksgiving and are going to have company during the week to prepare for.  So to allow you to enjoy your time of family we will not have a scheduled show. Second, tonight we are not having our next portion of our one year bible study.  Wild Bill preached Sunday night and he wanted to share his thoughts from that message with you on the show tonight.  If you did not catch it from the song that was played. Wild Bill wants you to do some stomping in your walk of faith.  Wild Bill asked me to apologize to everybody for having a cold that you can hear during his message.  He also wanted to apologize for not being able to share the message quite the same as it was presented in a church setting.  He has said many times that he does not have that $50 word vocabulary, and he is aware his speach patterns are not as smooth as many other preachers or teachers.  But with that said, the topic of the show tonight as simple as it is.  Is easy to overlook in your walk with GOD.  Wild Bill loves illustrations that paint pictures.  He prays that he is able to paint a picture in your mind of the message for application into your life.  We have done one of these shows in a long time and we pray that the sound quality good for you to hear.  As always we open up the microphones at the end of each show so that you can add a comment or ask questions. Yesterday was veterans day! When we were kids the Vietnam war was the war of the day. Some say that the youth which is the best and brightest of our future is who fights in war. In this country it was the beginning of a time of people speaking out as they saw their sons, fathers, brothers, and friends drafted to fight in a war based on the concept of stopping the spread of Communism. It had nothing to do with retaliation of an attack made against us, or to stop an enemy that had made threats to attack us. There were many songs written about the effects of war upon this country and the lives of those that served as a form of protest and support of our military. Wild Bill picked these two songs to hopefully remind all of us of the sacrifice of those that serve our country. I had family that fought in Vietnam and both Wild Bill and myself have had family that has served in the United States military. Wild Bill's son served two tours in Iraq. We have presented shows to you in the past on PTSD and we hope that you go back and listen to those shows to understand how serious this problem is. From all of us at, “Your Place”. We say thank you for all of you that serve! Last week we had our introduction to the four gospels and how this teacher plans to go through this to save time. Many people say this is one gospel and for sure the good news is all of the story of the life and times of Jesus. But just like their may be four witnesses of one crime. God touched each of these men to testify of this time with different vision and presentation. This teacher is far outside of the box of what you may have heard in church, and we are not saying he is 100% right. But he has a way of getting you to get a bigger picture of the scriptures then any other bible study we have ever found.  As always for those that listen live to the show each week.  We open up the mic for comments or questions.  Just push the number 1 to be a part of the show.

We are back into our bible study where we are now into the gospels of the bible.  I know many people refers to this as the new testiment.  But this was actually describing the life and times of Jesus.  This time that is being written about was still under the old covenant. There was things that had to take place before we could start the new testiment covenant that we live under now. The last part of this was the ourpouring of the Holy Ghost that happened on the day of Pentecosty. As always we welcome you thoughts or comments at the end of the show.

Welcome to another show here at "Your Place" tonight.  We are taking a break from our bible study to look at the celbration of Pagan holidays by people in church.  One thing that keeps coming up on this topic is how divided church groups and people are on this topic.  The bible speaks of GOD's people should be seperate from the world.  So what does that mean? Do you ever stop and think about that.  In case you have forgot the very air you breath comes from this world. So does the food you eat, and the houses you live in.  You use the highway system of the world, the electrical system of this world and even the legal system of this world is part of your life. So this has to be speaking of spiritual things, right?  Thanks to sin their is a spirit in this world that comes against the things of GOD.  That is why we have a race to run, a battle to win, and this spirit of this world to overcome. There are two thoughts that keep coming up when you take a look at pagan holidays. First is alternative.  This is something we hear about gay marriage.  An alternative life style.  But is there not only two choices on your spiritual journey?  There is the path of sin, or you can choose the Godly path of obeying the bible. Is living for GOD not an alternative choice to the direction of this world.  Then we have another word that has a spirit that comes with it.  The spirit of compromise.  When you read the letters sent to the new testiment churches that had all followed the plan of salvation as laid out in the book of ACTs.  You can see compromise in the church and following your own logic is talked about with consequences that follow. Some people do not have a problem with attacking halloween but then they celebrate Christmas which in some ways is even more evil.  Tonight we have clips to share with you to help you make up your own mind. Welcome back to another show here at, "Your Place"!   He was also amazed at some of the comments he got regarding what I read before last weeks show.  Wild Bill shared a comment he heard Pastor Smithson make that blew him away as to how deep that statment really is.  Many people misunderstood that Bill was bragging on the wisdom of what his Pastor said.  Wild Bill is the king of the run on sentence and working all night and trying to put the show together without sleep can make you feel like you need an interpeter sometimes.  Pastor's statement was you have to study the prophets through the lens of the apostiles.  To stop and realize that only in our dispensation is this possible and needed.  Like being at the eye doctor and he keeps adding lens to make the words clear that you see.  Bill was sorry that he did not make this statement shared as the great statment that it really is.  I sometimes forget that some people as a rule are looking for the negitive to slant things.  This week we are still in the minor prophets.  So you did not miss anything.  Wild Bill is feeling that it is time for people to not only say they live for GOD.  But take a look at what they are doing for the kingdom. Beyond trying to use GOD as a ATM machine of blessings, and our insurance policy to avoid the judgment that is going to come unto this world. As we have been hearing about the prophets speaking of the relationship between a people and GOD.  Do you ever think of your life as a story to tell of your relationship with GOD and HIS reltionship with you?  If so are you staying on the straight and narrow, or spending time in being like Elvis and doing it your way?  You need to know the answer to this question. Why, because Jesus is coming back and you will be weighed in the balance.  So get ready today because tomorrow might be to late.

Welcome to another show in our one year bible study.  Instead of a song to start our show as normal.  Wild Bill wanted to share this cute breakdown on the prophets and how many people really do not understand how the prophets from the Bible are different then what you would think from other people that used that title.  Tonight we are going into the minor prophets.  Wild Bill heard something at our church the other day that really sparked a thought and it has amazed him to the depth of what this statement is really saying. .  The statement made was in regards to the old testiment prophets of the bible.  We all know that God established a five fold ministry.  Ephesians 4:11-13 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:The statement made was that you needed to look at what the prophets said through the lens the apostles.  This statement speaks of a depth of wisdom that you do not hear at just any church. Why, because the bible from Genises to Revelations is a complete work with the description of God and HIS relationship with man becoming more and more clear through each lens of the five fold ministry.  Have you heard that hind site is 20/20? With GOD he works through both ends and all through time!  The power of the cross, bural, and resurection fits all time as a complete work! Our cross to bear is to repent, be baptized in Jesus Name, and recieving the Gift of the Holy Ghost!
